Good product overall. The only thing I saw different was the red. It was more like a magenta despite me putting more red food coloring. (We were making slime!) All the colors seemed lighter but it could also be other products that we mixed in to make the slime. If we played with the slime too long it would turn our hands that color. I have made slime before and that usually doesn’t happen. But, I still would buy this product. None of this does not make me not want to buy it.

I've been using gel food coloring in the past, but have found that I just don't use them enough to justify the cost since they end up drying out anyway.I stumbled onto this Bolo brand of food coloring when i was making a red velvet cake. The gel i had wasn't getting me that deep red i wanted, so i ordered a bottle of red food color from Bolo fresh. I was so impressed with how red it was,with no flavor change, that now it's the only food coloring i use. It's cheap, doesn't have the cancer causing red dye in it (you know, the kind that if you drink a gallon of it, you get cancer).

Super pigmented and flows really well. I actually got this for a school project where we were studying diffusion patterns in gels. Worked perfectly. You could see the dye spread over time and it made the results really easy to track.Colors are bright and mix cleanly. I can definitely see this being fun for baking too but if you’re in science or engineering and need visible tracers, this does the job without spending a fortune.
