Permanent markers in this size are often used, so a bulk pack was in order.Do I like being frugal about something that's essentially a consumable? Why yes, yes I do.The package was actually fancier than I thought it would be, with all of the pens in a form-fitted plastic tray inside a box.The markers work as expected - they don't bleed, even on more porous material. The shelf life on them is about as expected, comparable to others of this style - name brand or not.

My main use for these markers are to use on metal work. Soapstone tends to wipe off to easily where the black markers don't. Bought the higher quantity because I do go through them relatively quickly, and the price is better.

Great value. The markers arrived and none of them are dried out which is awesome . I wouldn’t say they are super permanent like a sharpie ( it didn’t dry down perfectly on plastic ) but they definitely do the trick

Took a chance on these and glad I did. They are better than Sharpies and for a fraction of the price, and you get 30 of them. In my experience, the brand name Sharpies I would use them a dozen times or so and they would dry out too quickly, especially if they hadn't been used for a while, which is frustrating when you need a permanent marker and it doesn't work properly or at all and neither does the other Sharpie that came in the 2-pack because that's all you can afford since they're expensive. And god forbid if you leave the cap off a Sharpie, even for a few minutes. I was prepared for these off brands to dry out even quicker, but the ink remains deep black and PERMANENT and I've had them for a couple months now and they're all over the house - kitchen drawer, office, workshop, etc - and used almost daily and not one has dried out and none even appear to be drying out like the Sharpies that have their caps on...and I live in a dry climate. Thought I was going to need the other 20+ markers but instead I gave away a couple hand fulls with more to spare. Great value.
