This one has the telescoping metal wand my last one had (but that one was a Eureka Mighty Mite). This one also has the option to get a hepa filter attachment (on my last one it came standard). My daughter took the Eureka to college, and I missed it so much I had to get another. There is supposedly tool storage in the end, but it doesn't seem to fit any of the tools. There is a three pronged tool holder that slides onto one of the slimmer wand ends, it is a really tight fit, almost like it is too tight, but it didn't break, so we'll see how it holds up. The tools will probably fall off this holder during use with a bump, but so far so good. This has SUPER suction. And is very light. I like the shoulder strap for stairs. Or when you need to reach higher. Great vac. Bags are supper easy to remove and replace.

I did a bunch of research and this is very similar to the Eureka Mighty Mite. It has the same motor amperage and It uses the same bags and it looks almost identical, but it comes with very high quality accessories. The telescoping metal wand is great. It makes it extremely easy to quickly move from surface to surface. The wand feels hefty but it isn't too heavy and it is by far the best wand on any vacuum I have ever used. The soft brush tool is also really nice - the bristles are very long and I feel very safe using it on delicate surfaces like wooden furniture. The multi floor tool is also fantastic - one setting lifts it about an eighth of an inch so that it works well on hard floors. The shoulder strap is also really nice to have - making it very easy to vacuum ceilings without lugging around the canister. The vacuum itself has great suction. There was a hidden corner under a cabinet that had a bunch of broken glass in it and it sucked it all up, so it definitely has a lot of power. I have a dog with long hair and it works really well at picking it up. The small plastic tool is the only one that I don't really like - it works but the dog hair gets stuck on little brush and I have to remove it and suck the hair off (the bigger multi floor tool doesn't have this issue; some hair gets stuck to it but it seems to have a better design). I probably wouldn't recommend this to someone with large carpets or rugs as it doesn't have a rotating brush/head. This does not come with a HEPA filter but you can buy one that snaps onto the end behind the motor - I don't have allergies but this is a nice feature should I ever need one.

It has great suction power, very loud, great for bare floors, it's not terrible but not great for carpets/area rugs, and lastly this is not gonna be a vacuum u want if u have pets. The pet hair constantly gets stuck in the hose and I have to push it through with a broom stick.

Will update when I’ve used for a while and it proves to last.2nd Edit: was promptly sent a new one. It has been working fine since.I purchased this for use on my 2200sq ft home, hardwood and tile only. I have 2 messy kids, 1 messy husband and 2 hairy cats. I have to vacuum everyday.Pros:Cheap.The suction power on this bad boy is amazing.Arrived fast.Cons:Really awkward storage for accessories. Cumbersome design. Won’t stand up by itself.Overall review:I love this thing. It gets right up to the edges and corners no problem. I had a dyson and although it did work well, I wasn’t happy with the huge dent it put in my pockets. It is quite cumbersome and it doesn’t really “sit” nicely while put away. The accessory holder design is awkward as well. However, my main concern is price and how strong the suction power is, so I don’t mind dealing with the awkward it. Also, some reviewers have said it didn’t come with a crevasse tool but it does. It’s connected to the “stand” part. Just pull it out.

I've used this vacuum a few times, and I'm very happy with it. The suction is great, and it can be adjusted a bit by turning a little ring on the upper part of the metal wand to cover or uncover a little hole. This is useful when vacuuming a small area rug, so that the vacuum doesn't pull too strongly on the rug. I like the fact that the main wand is made of metal, not cheap plastic, and it telescopes to adjust its length. The only thing I don't like is that the cord is not retractable, but that was not a deal-breaker for me. The crevice tool was missing in my package, but I the crevice tool from my old vacuum happened to fit the Sanitaire vacuum, so this wasn't a problem for me.

I am really pleased with my Sanitaire Canister vacuum. My first vacuum was a canister type and I loved it. Sanitaire vacuum is light weight and much easier to maneuver than an upright vacuum. The suction is so strong that I have to turn it down vacuuming bare floors. The hose is a standard size (1-1/4 inches), and all of my old attachments also work on it. My only gripe would be that the attachment holder does not hold them well enough. They often fall off when vacuuming.I have not needed it yet, but I wish that Sanitaire had provided using the exhaust to blow out a blocked up hose. The one I had years ago did have that feature.
