I love, love, love this electric fireplace. So much I bought one for my parents' house. Shipped in a timely fashion. All I had to do was take it out of the box, place it in my fireplace and plug it in...and BEAUTIFUL AMBIANCE!!! It comes with a 6 ft cord and buttons on the right side, out of sight, for power, heat, flame and timer. A remote control comes with it which makes it super convenient to use. The settings have 3 level for heat and flame height. The heat you can feel standing in front of it. It gets very warm. Standing back 10 feet, you don't directly feel the heat but this fireplace will take take the chill out of the air and heat the room in 15 to 20 min. My living room is approximately 18 x 24 ft and I can feel the difference in warmth coming down the stairs into my living room when the heater is on. It can get too hot that I either turn it off or change the level of heat coming out. I think it looks wonderful in the day and night. It creates such a cozy environment. Last photo is the 2nd one I bought. I had been looking for an electric fireplace log set for years and I finally found one that the looks and price was right. I recommend this very much! Love it. Sorry Santa, you may need to use the door this year instead. ;-)

I ordered this electric fireplace to suit my house’s fireplace. I have an old fireplace which is now closed. So to get a better feeling i ordered this one and it absolutely meets my expectations.Pros:1. Design: it is designed in a rustic steel colored design with pretend wood on top. Nobody can guess from a diatance that it’s not wood. As soon as you switch it on the light bulb inside turns on and the light changes in intensity which gives it a look like real wood.2. Heat Intensity: its a powerful 1500W heat blower that quickly heats up the room. I am using it in a 15’x15’ room and it takes hardly 10 minutes to feel the room warm.3. Remote control: you can control the temperature and the timer sitting in the comfort of your couch or bed.4. Built: its made of steel. So very sturdy and durable. My 3 year old daughter picked it up several times and dropped it but nothing happened to it.Great investment.

The heater fit right into my small fireplace, and I was so pleased as I haven't used my fireplace in years. I had filled it with candles which made it prettier, but it was still drafty, even with the flue closed. I enjoyed it for two days, with the embers and flame effects, and then it tripped the circuit breaker over and over. I tried moving other things and buying a new extension cord, but it kept happening. The manual recommends not using an extension cord, but the cord on the heater is way too short for that. You have to use an extension cord if you are using it in your fireplace. I am giving it 4 stars because it really is a nice heater to have if you can find a way to get electricity to it! They should update the cord to be longer. I will probably just move it into the garage. I am bummed because it really made my fireplace pretty again.

The media could not be loaded. Glad I bought this. It is very relaxing after a long work day. Can only choose the flame setting with one button on the remote if you don’t want the heat. When it is only on the flame setting, it doesn’t make a peep. Total silence. The video is while it is on the only flame setting. On heater and flame, it is minimally making a heating sound naturally while giving out heat. It is beautiful. Very satisfied with my purchase. I would but it again.

I really enjoy keeping this electric fireplace heater on for the warmth it provides with the flame effect. It does not actually heat our space very well however. It could be that the space we are trying to heat is too large for this unit. That really wasn’t the purpose for my purchase though. I used to have gas logs with the rocks inside the fireplace but my pets kept stealing them out!!!! I used red twinkle lights on the gas logs to give an ember effect but I wasn’t too eager to have to replace those batteries as often as I needed to. This was the perfect solution. I literally pulled it out of the box and plugged it in. Used the remote it came with to turn it on and viola! The picture shows the light but doesn’t show the actual effect. It looks like small flames since the lights actually appear to flicker and move. It’s very quiet.Only CON: if you have this near an Apple TV and you use the remote to turn your Apple device on or off, it will also turn this heater off! Haven’t figured out how to consistently get my Apple Remote to turn the heater on and off. Would be GREAT if it did. Then I’d only have to keep track of one remote!

Crackling sound, heat when needed, and the flicker of flames .. My 200 year old home has nonfunctioning fireplaces. I've wanted an insert or something for years. This unit is so perfect! Meets fire code, creates warmth, the "flames" are nice and my living room is so much nicer because my husband got this for me.

Great addition to my fireplace and gives off heat as well. Only imp could be crackling sound as well. Great value for money.
