My 13 year old cocker spaniel had horrible breath even with brushing his teeth every day. I have tried other water additives which have made his face swell up, so I was scared to try one again and dental treats hurt his tummy. Then I found this Oxyfresh and had AI look up each ingredient:The Oxyfresh Premium Pet Dental Care Solution contains the following key ingredients:Water (Aqua): The base of the solution.Sodium Benzoate: A preservative that also has antibacterial properties. No mouth smells
The First buy was pet supermarket price was acceptable, I put one spoon in the water bowl and my cat drinks it , I ordered it again from Bolo with double price .

I'd like to address some of the bad reviews on this product. First of all in respect to allergies and individuals saying that they should avoid this product at all cost. People are allergic to peanuts yet they're not banned worldwide people are allergic to milk and eggs yet they're not banned worldwide. My point is is allergies happen. It's not the product's fault. If your pet has a reaction to this product then simply stop using it and don't purchase again.This product works extremely well. It is not meant to get rid of plaque and tartar from the teeth of your pet. It is meant to inhibit the growth of plaque and tartar. What this means is that your pet has to have good dental health to begin with and not have any plaque or tartar to start with. This product will slow down or stop the production of plaque and tartar. It won't get rid of it though.For my two cats I make about a liter of water at a time and mix in one cap of this product. Then I simply use the 1 L of water to fill their water bowls daily until I need to make a new batch. Works very well and the cat's breath is squeaky clean now.
