I picked this up for my son so my review is based on my perception and his quality/flavor review. The presentation on Bolo is slightly deceiving but overall it was good... it's a box. Flavors were good but like the other one I purchased, on the smaller size. I liked that the nuts were included as it gave a little variety to this gift. I actually added a couple bags of nuts to beef the other bag of jerky I bought. Based on my son eating everything and saying the flavors were good, I'm gonna say the value was acceptable.

This item is way beyond overpriced. I will admit that I should have taken the time to fully read the description to realize the quantity wasn't worth the $35 price tag. Only 2 4oz bags of nuts and a variety of beef sticks? Seriously, only 2 4oz bags for such a high price? Well, I have definitely learned my lesson and will be sure to fully read all descriptions and not just go by the picture of the item. In this case, the picture looks like a very full box of snacks; but in reality, a riser or raised partition is placed in the bottom of the box so when it's opened you think "hey this is a very full box of delicious snacks" but nope, once I removed the items from the top, all I saw was another piece of raised cardboard.

My guy liked it. He said it tastes, "Almost as good as my own homemade jerky. Closest to mine I've tasted yet. Hm...now I want to make some more of my jerky". And..."The nuts are okay, but I prefer my sugar free toffee peanut/popcorn crunch". Yeah, my guy is a foodie who makes his own stuff so buying for him is problematic, but I figured, for the price, this stuff would be better than his own homemade. Wrong.I'm sorry I bought it. It's worth about half what I paid. Won't buy from this brand again. Much too expensive for the amount received, and it's STILL not as good as what my guy makes for himself. I give up.

Wanted to get my hubby something fun for his birthday (he LOVES snack boxes). Came across this beef jerky basket with nuts and I thought wow this is perfect! All his favorites in one box!I got the box same day (yay!), quality was great! He was so happy and excited to dig into all the goodies, the jerky was gone first (surprise) the nut mixes were very good! (Tap room mix was his favorite)Will buy again!
