Horrible product! Continually stops working. Contacted manufacturer. Manufacture knows that it has solenoid problems that continually go out. Solenoids are on backorder for months and months and require a plumber to replace. Don’t buy this product. It will only frustrate you and end up in the trash

We have 12+ of these in our school. They work well, until the battery needs replacing. On our last batch, some were needing replaced every 2 weeks! I am hoping that was a fluke, and have replaced those with new faucets, expecting much longer battery life.

I received the faucet and reviewed the contents of the box. It then occured to me that the sink where my old leaky manual faucet was mounted has 3 holes to mate with the new faucet (which only needs 1 hole). After talking to multiple large home improvement stores and several hardware and plumbing stores, I determined that none of them stocked the required additional cover plate that would have been included in the box had I ordered the correct version of the new faucet. The ones who could get it said that I could expect to pay $25 to $50 to special order the part.I spent about a half hour pulling my hair out trying to think of an acceptable alternative. I had to give that up when I noticed that I had run out of hair to pull out. So, I did the thing that I had promised never to do and asked my wife if she had any ideas.She looked up from her computer and asked, "Have you checked Bolo?"Half a day later I was lovingly fondling the universal plate that I had purchased on Bolo for $7 and same day delivery.From there onward, it was simple!I followed the included directions with detail graphics and easily installed the new no touch faucet.It operates quietly and I used a bit less water than the old faucet.This one comes with a lithium battery to operate the valve inside the faucet. The literature promises long uninterrupted service (years if I remember correctly).It works like a dream and everyone in the house had a sudden urge to wash their hands multiple times that evening for no particular reason.Watch out COVID-19! No one at our house will be an easy target!I am quite happy with the purchase and will do it again at any sign of a leaking faucet in the other bathroom. But, I will be careful to select the faucet with an included cover plate.

I had no issues with the build quality that others have commented on. Once it is installed, no one will ever know how heavy or solid it is. My main issue is that it never got hot water from my tankless heater since the flow is terrible and the sensor kept failing to register my hands for a consistent stream. Avoid this one.

The price of this faucet is pretty low considering it is a Grohe which usually makes expensive faucets, but this low price is very deceiving. First of all most of the faucet is made out of plastic. This may not necessarily mean the quality is bad or that it won't work for very long time, however it's something that everyone should be aware of. Second, and what I believe most important - this faucet can be adjusted in terms of how long it will run for and the sensitivity of its sensor, however to adjust this you must buy optional remote control which costs about $300 when purchased from Grohe. There is no way to adjust those parameters without this optional remote control.

This product is working like a charm for my home. I was able to install it myself in a short period of time, because the illustration provided was very simple. The motion detector is great. Now, I'm able to control the amount of water that I need to run through the faucet. The price isn't not too exorbitant, I think it's a fair price. Now, I'm happy that I don't have to keep on turn on and off the water all the time. This is a great value for my house, I'm extremely happy.
