Great buy for anyone wanting to practice on 4c texture hair. I did buy for my daughter who is 12 and first thing she did when she got it is put detangler pre shampoo in hair and the curls looked similar to 4c hair when wet and then once she washed the hair she blow dried the hair straight to start practicing on it. There is some shedding just like 4c hair but very happy with purchase.

Upon opening the box I noticed how brittle the dolls hair was. So just like I would my own hair or a clients I sprayed it with leave in conditioner- the odor was unbearable. The hair became sticky, so I jump to shampoo the doll leading to endless amounts of shedding, and a brownish yellow color twirling down the drain.I have had a headache since. Whatever chemicals used to curl the hair need to be properly rinsed or neutralized.Thickness could use work, length is fine I guess.
