The smell is wonderful, and the whipped hand cream smooths on like rubbing velvet. My skin is silkier thanks to this moisturizing cream!

Bought this for my daughter for Xmas & she loves it. Uses it at bedtime for relaxation on hands & arms. I need to buy myself some now!

arrived half empty. 😡 lousy first impression.Happily, while it smells VERY lilac, I detected no lavender. it's nice but I prefer lavender as the main aroma. also it's SO small. for the price, it's not a great deal. I love the scent though. lilacs are so fragrant and pretty.the texture is truly a lush creamy thick body butter not a watery lotion. that's a good thing because I have very dry skin. this is easy to apply, heavenly texture, goes right in my skin, not greasy at all. Yay to that! I love the texture.For 2 reasons: it's expensive for the quantity and the lilac scent is so intense, I plan to stretch this out by mixing with an unscented body butter I had already, just to make it last longer without sacrificing that awesome lilac aroma.

lavender is one of the most-used ingredients in the perfume industry - this ointment smelled nothing like lavender - maybe a bit of lilac or calalily but not lavender-y at all. Smelled like old lady after two minutes. Its not a body butter in comparison to other body butters - very sticky and doesn't spread well - you need a LOT for a minimum area to work.While definitely more "moisturizing" than water, not particularly useful there - ten minutes later, it felt like nothing ever happened. Tried to make it work but its going in the trash - no point in holding on to something that is so dissatisfactory. Not going to send it back - not interested in that much activity.

It's more of a vaseline texture than a lotion or body cream. It does moisturize longer than other creams but it's so thick. It's only a very faint smell of lilacs.
