It's easy to remove the hair, but even more important, my dog loves it too. She will lay by my side and I could brush her for hours. Be prepared to have a trash bag next to you, because the fur will come out for sure. The brush gathers under fur which is great for the dog to manage summer a bit cooler.

I have an Norwegian forest cat, who absolutely hates getting brushed so much so that he will bite anyone who tries and then start punching himself at your face. Long story short, this brush, which has amazing quality and great durability, actually keeps him calm when I'm grooming him. Mind you I've been trying with about 20 different brushes over the last 10 years and up until now I've never found one that actually worked well. I found this through a grooming video on social media and it works excellently with him. He is on medication for sensitive skin so finding the right brush was really important to me. His fur looks great afterwards and he doesn't fight me on it anymore. It's a decent size without being too big, and it's easy to hold. I have difficulty gripping things with my hands and I have no problem with this at all.

It works. Does not seem like much so I don’t know how long it will last. My daughter dropped it and it came apart in several pieces but I was able to put it back together after I found all the springs.

This works great. I just got it in the mail today and brushed my dog for almost an hour and got so much fur. This brush makes it east to dispose of the fur in the brush. I would buy it again.

It was as described. I purchased this for my pitbull who has very short hair. The tips are rounded & smooth so they did not scratch or bother his skin.

Der Hund mag es damit verwöhnt zu werden und genießt die Fellpflege. Die Haare die sich in der Bürste festsetzen, lassen sich ohne sie anzufassen mit einem Klick, in den Müll geben.

I have 9 different slicker brushes. They don’t have rubber tips. Nor do they retract. This is a game changer brush. It is safer on their skin. But the absolute best part is the retractable brush. BAM the fur is released right away. I can’t tell you how utterly frustrating it is to try and get the fur out of other brushes. Even with using a comb to try and dig the fur out is a nightmare. I bought 2 !
