I think this is a fantastic set of tools. I use power tools everyday especially an impact or a hammer drill. I’ve been a dewalt man for around 10 years now and they did the job well. With that being said from the moment I picked these tools up to use them I could feel the difference in quality. Hands down the smoothest and bad to the bone tools I’ve ever used. The impact is light and the 3 speed selection is new to me but I tried it out on a few applications and it is flawless. The thing I like most is the comfort, there is zero vibration with any of the tools in this set it. The circular saw is a slick cutting saw, it’s very impressive. From someone who uses power tools in construction sites every day I HIGHLY recommend to jump ship from whatever you are on and give makita a shot there are worth every penny.

Circular saw died with no warning after minimal use 1+ year in. Disappointing. I opened it up, having repaired other tools, but no obvious cause of failure. Rest of kit seems fine so far....
