Very Nice scanner, easy to update and log in. No fees. The less expensive scanners will only work for engine codes. If you have an ABS/SRS/Tranny issue you need this one. Excellent for my abs issue. Scanner showed all 4 wheel sensor speeds at same time and allowed me to identify the wheel causing issue. Some simple fixes require a scanner to reset. This one does all modules. Cost of the scanner+Parts, when I can do the fix myself was less than 1 trip to the dealer. Instructions are poor but scanner is mostly intuitive. very happy

I’m very pleased with the TOPDON AD500 OBD2 Scanner. It's incredibly easy to use, even if you’re not a professional mechanic. The interface is straightforward, and the menu layout makes it simple to navigate through all the diagnostic features. One of the best things about this scanner is the automatic updates via Wi-Fi. No need to mess with SD cards or cables, just connect to Wi-Fi and the device keeps itself up to date with the latest features and vehicle coverage. It’s a huge time saver. I’ve used it to perform oil resets, throttle and TPMS functions, and even battery (BMS) and brake (EPB) resets. It reads codes for the engine, ABS, SRS, and transmission quickly and accurately. The AutoVIN feature also makes it super convenient to identify the car instantly. Overall, this is a powerful tool for the price. Highly recommend it to DIYers and professionals alike!

Updated itself over WiFi to the latest version when starting it up. Was able to read the VIN of my car and figure out the configuration except the transmission which I had to select. I bought it mainly to reset the Throttle Position map since the car had problems after cleaning the throttle body. It was a breeze to accomplish with the tool, and now the car runs great again. It was also easy to clear the routine maintenance messages instead of trying to remember how to do it with dashboard button combinations. It displayed a lot of information on past catalytic converter status/issues. The web site AI was good at answering questions.

I’ve always gotten by with inexpensive OBD2 scanners that offered only basic capabilities, but I recently needed a more advanced scanning tool to service the rear brakes on my Porsche vehicle — which required putting the vehicle into repair mode. Great obd2 topdon scanner for multiple vehicles and years. Also has bidirectional tests and resets that come in very handy. Especially throttle relearn and oil rest . If looking for a more professional or full bidirectional functions then I recommend the 800 bt. Or ( xtool d7) . Both great but topdon artidiag has lifetime updates unlike its competitors. I am very happy with mine and did full updates when received. Not always needed but it's free so why not update. This does all American, Europe and Asian cars . Surprise even very high end cars like Lambo and bughatt...I updated for all the cars I have and tend to work on. It's very simple over WiFi.

Quality Tool
Does it read Specific Manufacturer codes like GM that other readers don't? YES!My 2020 Buick is displaying an engine light but my old reader couldn't read the "GM specific code" to diagnose the issue, so I purchased this TOPDON AD500. The device arrived the next day, which was pretty sweet, I did the login setup (create account, confirm information, etc..etc) then hooked it up to wireless internet, Installed the updates with the handy touch screen, downloaded all the FORD, GM, DODGE, JEEP, CHEVROLET updates available since I don't own any other types of vehicles.FYI, this thing can read all codes from almost every manufactured car sold in Canada or so it seems.Plugged it into my 2020 Buick Encore, hit the "diagnose" button on the screen, BAM, Code P146D:00 EVAP Surge Pump code. I'm so friggin stoked this thing works so well. Turns out the code is related to a recall so it's going into GM in 2 days to get the Recall work done. Well worth the $184.00 sale price. That, and it looks like Free updates for life, or at least until the year 2124 when all the updates seem to expire.If you want a code reader that seems like it can read almost every manufacturers car codes...seems to be really good quality, and doesn't just read the "generic codes", this seems to be a good choice.Even had some updates to get European models and out of country models as well, like Rolls Royce and Lamborghini's ....one day.If you have $200 to spend on a code reader that is up to date for 2025, has a bunch of options and can read codes to pretty much whatever you plug it in to...This was a good choice for me.

J'ai acheté ce produit pour faire le changement des freins arrière électrique de mon véhicule.Avant l'achat je voulais être sur que ce produit pouvait mettre les étriers en mode maintenance, j'ai écris 3 fois au vendeur pour poser des questions et j'ai toujours eus une réponse rapide.La configuration est simple et la connexion Wi-Fi permet de mettre l'appareil à jour facilement.J'ai remarqué que certaines marques de véhicules ne sont pas prise en charge, alors informez-vous avant l'achat.Pour mettre mes étriers en maintenance j'ai du faire relâche des étriers, quand j'ai eus terminer j'ai cherché un peu pour trouver comment mettre fin à la maintenance, j'ai finalement trouvé une option qui est calibration du frein à main qui à terminer le travail.Suggestion au vendeur, une option remplacement des freins arrières avec simplement début et fin serait plus simple.Je n'es pas testé pour les problèmes mécanique.Pour ce que j'ai fais avec je recommande !!
