This is the second one I’ve bought, my first lasted over 3 years and would have lasted longer but I didn’t realize the water dropped too low and heater wasn’t fully submerged, so it was my fault. I like the temperature display so I don’t need to have a separate thermometer. Regulates temperature very well, kept my tank 75-78 degrees. I have a fluval flex 15 gallon tank, the 50 watt for 10 gallon was the perfect size. Like that there is no glass parts to break and that it is fully submersible. Will definitely buy again if needed.

Bought this for a two gallon tank for my betta. Very easy to use, I had some trouble setting the desired temp but figured it out via YouTube- just continue to click the temp button and it will reset after 99 and return to 75, then set at desired temp. Stays perfect at 77 -78 for my fish [set at 77]. Suction cups work great, seems durable. My fish seems to enjoy his warmer water!

We bought this 2 years ago and it's still going. It kept the temperature exactly where we wanted it (78) for our betta. Unfortunately it does seem to be varying in temperature now. (It's set at 85 - just to keep the temp up, normally it's at 78- but keeping the tank at 72... time for a new one) I will be purchasing another one to replace it because it was good. It's on 24/7, no noise whatsoever, and my snail loves sleeping on top of it for heat! I love that it's flat against the back of the tank but had space for my snail to climb up and sleep on it. My Betta was very happy with the temperature while it works. Suction is still great on the wall! Unsure if 2 years is a short time for a heater to work or not. It's our first tank.

The media could not be loaded. I usually keep cooler water fish so keeping the room warmer is normally enough but I wanted to get back into bettas so I wanted an independent heater. Only ever messed with the older tube models and hated them. #1 reason why I love this model is it has a plastic cage around the heating core so no fish or fry can touch it. #2 external temp control, don't have to reach into the tank and twist the top or risk touching the heater to adjust temperature. #3 live LED temperature readout so I don't need any sort of thermometer in the tank. My ONLY complaint with this unit is how long is it gonna last. If it lasts a good while or a few months down the road is still kicking strong I'm definitely gonna get more of these if needed. Awesome little heaters for 9$ off my initial impressions. Hope it lasts a while.

Very disappointed in this. Worked great for 3 months now not so much. i put it at 80 degrees and my tank still cold. Temp reading says 72 when the heater says 79. And of course it is past time that I can return or exchange it! So now I have to buy another one. Think these dang company's do it on purpose. Buyer beware you will have to get another one after a couple of months

Nearly cooked my fish, does not last
If I could give negative stars I would.I purchased this product at the beginning of Nov 2023 and now it's is mid March 2024.Within 4.5 months the display has broken leaving the first number visible and the second number half visible. (It was fine last night when I checked it)On top of this I have had this heater consistanly set to 74° with a thermometer in the tank reading between 72°-74° (this is in a 5 gal tank) Today I left for work as normal and came home to the temperature set at 74° although half the 4 is cut off due to the display breaking... The display read 77° I believe (again hard to verify with the broken display) and the thermometer in the tank is reading 79°.Thank god I came home when I did or I would have come home to a lot of cooked critters!! One of the shrimp is carrying eggs and I would have been devastated.This product is extremely unreliable. I am positive if I did not step in and unplug it when I did all the inhabitants of this tank would have met their demise.On top of all of this I cannot return the product anymore, and it only lasted 43 days longer than the return eligibility date.I do not recommend this product. It's size is very appealing for a small tank but it is not worth the risk. The amount of time and money spent on all the animals and plants in your tank is worth a reliable heater.
