I bought the WDSHCR Drywall Repair Patch kit not for drywall, but to help combat a persistent woodpecker issue on the exterior of my home. I had a few areas under the eaves where these birds were pecking holes through the siding. After some research, I needed something durable, easy to apply, and strong enough to discourage them from coming back.These 8x8 self-adhesive patches were exactly what I needed. The aluminum backing made them super sturdy, and the fiberglass mesh provided extra hold and coverage. They stuck well to the primed surface and blended in nicely after a bit of sanding and paint. Talk about convenient - this multi-size pack of drywall patches turned out to be a much better deal than those single patches from the big box stores. Having different sizes on hand means you're covered whether you're fixing a doorknob hole or a larger oops.The patches are good quality - the adhesive sticks well, and the mesh is strong enough to hold the compound without sagging. Used one of these to fix a wall hole and it was smooth sailing. Compound adhered well to the mesh, and once painted, you can't tell there was ever damage there.The value here is solid - cheaper per patch than buying them individually at Home Depot or Lowe's, plus you're not stuck with just one size. Keep the pack around and you're ready for whatever holes life (or your kids) throw at your walls.

This drywall repair kit was simple to use and a great price versus paying a professional. It is thick enough to cover the damage left by an old tv wall mount and gave us the finished look we were hoping for. The package contained several sizes so we could customize the fit. The included instructions were helpful as well. The wall looks like new!!

Something you may never need but definitely handy to repair damaged drywall. Comes with different size patches and sand paper.Advice: take your time to spackle, dry, and sand. Do this as much as needed.

Adhere's well to the wall, I just used the scraper to 'push' it to stick better. Then use a good joint compound to cover it up. It is nice that it has many sizes available and they do cut down to size if you need to do that.

It fell off very easily. I made sure to clean and dry the section of drywall where I was patching first but it just started falling off when I applied the spackle.
Great product. But not easy as they say
Its not the products fault. The process itself is not easy. The edges of the scraper will leave creases as you try to patch the hole so that the wall looks ''balanced''. Its extremely difficult and your hand shakes so its not gonna be perfectly even. Yet its good enough if you really need to patch a hole. Just don't expect a seemless end result. Its just not possible. Balance your expectations. Its just part of the process. Its not the product, its human error.
Easy to use and great result!!!
This was so easy to use. The patch size was perfect for the hole (created by the door knob being slammed into the wall), and the patching material was easy to apply, dried quickly, sanded up smoothly and once painted, the patch was difficult to detect.
