A warning to folks using this for the first time: the first time it pairs, it takes a very long time to show up on your device. I was sitting there, literally thinking about what a pain in the butt it was going to be to pack it back up, return it for a refund. I was heading out of the car and then... pop. There it was. Ever since, it's been great. It has withstood some intense heat a few times, seems unfazed. All I have to do is turn it on and it pairs with my phone instantly. If I get in listening to something, it switches over without missing a beat. One of my most successful Bolo purchases.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works great, but some weird connectivity stuff (with iPhones at least)
Sound quality is great, I use it in my car all the time, and the battery life seems good too.The range is very good, it can cover the entirety of an average Subway restaurant (I work there and use it on the speakers), but sometimes it cuts in and out if there’s a large metal object between you. Another thing is that when you first connect to it, sometimes it disconnects you and you have to connect again, but after that it works fine. If someone else connects to it it will do this to them, and then do it to you again when you reconnect. I don’t know about Android phones, but on my iPhone, when you turn it off, the little icon at the top of the screen goes away, but in your settings it still shows as connected, and you’ll have to disconnect to allow someone else to connect to it. If you choose to disconnect after you turn it off, when you turn it back on it will automatically connect. If you don’t disconnect after turning it off, when you turn it back on you’ll have to go into your setting and just tap on it will work again. It also registers to your phone (at least iPhones) as a pair of headphone with a microphone, however it doesn’t have a microphone, so if you answer a phone call you’ll have to switch to speaker so they can hear you. I’ve only used the transmitter (Tx) mode once to make sure it worked, and it seemed to work fine although the took a bit before it would connect to my headphones.Volume control is fine, although it’s much quieter than I feel like it should be. When I plug my phone into my car via a cable the volume levels seem about the same as the radio, but when I plug this in I have to turn the car volume up much farther to achieve the same volume level.Although it can be a bit quiet, it works amazingly. The weird connectivity stuff is the only thing keeping this review from being 5 star.

They work well and pair effortlessly within a few seconds. Good signal. It is very nice. Older programs may have audio lag issues. This relates to Bluetooth items in general the lag is not too bad. If it lags I ignore. You can sync the video and audio. It does not bother me. Only the oldest programs recorded prior to digital age are a problem. The item is excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of pairing a non Bluetooth device with a Bluetooth device. I am very pleased.

At first I loved this product. it works great and sounds amazing . The problem is the metal piece that you connect to it to the car came apart and the wires were showing and it stopped working. After a week. very disappointing. The price was good and delivery fast. you have to have a charger of your own to charge it it does not come with block to put the wire into to charge. it does come with the wire and it is short.otherwise I really loved it. To bad it had to break so fast.i am Leary about buying the same one because i am afraid it will break again. I don't want to have to keep buying itI was hoping it would last longer.

It does what it says it does, I used it for transmission from my TV to headphones. It was able to connect no problems, no cutting in and out or disconnecting, atleast until the battery starts to die, then there's a series of warning beeps. This is one of the things I did not like, with a fully charged unit, I wasn't able to get through a 2hr movie before battery was dead. Aside from the weak internal battery, the volume was super low through my headphones and had to be cranked super high in order to get decent sound, not great sound, just decent.For that, I'll probably spend the money to get a better unit, and never use this one again.I would not buy againUPDATE 12/27/23I'm updating to 5 stars due to the fact that the seller contacted me on their own, apologized for the defective transmitter and issued a full refund. That is great customer service and worth 5 stars on its own, I rarely see that kind of customer service anymore!

This was easy to set up and works as expected... however, the battery only lasts 2-3 hours? So I guess it would be prefect for anyone who wants to watch one single movie while their kid naps or something, but it's so annoying to have to recharge that often that I don't even bother to use it.

It took a while to connect. Followed the directions but you really need to be patient and make sure all your other bluetooth devices are turned off. Battery on the device doesn't work for very long. I traveled on a very long flight and felt like i had to plug it in 3 times.

Un detalle algo molesto
El producto funciona, la quería para conectar como parlante a mi Alexa. Pero el detalle que me parece molesto es que al encenderlo, funciona bien, pero con el tiempo el sonido va ganando retraso que con 20 minutos, se nota mucho el atraso. Para solucionarlo, tengo que desconconectar del Bluetooth y volverlo a conectar; o apagar el dispositivo y volverlo a encender.
