I've tried several cilantro-rice side dishes from various makers. Some have been boxed (like this one) and some have been ready-to-eat in packets for the microwave, but this one continues to be my favorite for its texture and flavor. It's easy to prepare with 1TB of butter or oil and some water mixed with the rice and seasoning packet. For my family of 3, one box is perfect as a side dish at the right price.If you want a flavorful rice without an overpowering cilantro-lime flavor, give this one a try!

I love cilantro lime rice. I have always made it myself by recipe. This rice is a great alternative to doing that. It's quick and less time consuming. The taste is not as good as homemade but still good. I added more lime juice to it after cooking and some fresh cilantro. We love cilantro, so can never have enough. All in all I recommend giving this a try. I keep several boxes in my pantry for when I am in a time crunch or just being lazy.

I love this rice. I use it in chipotle bowls. It's perfect. I have a hard time finding it in a regular grocery store but luckily Bolo has it. I put a bit more lime in it that replaces some of the water I out in to make it. Just a tiny amount though because it already has a good lime flavor so I'm just being extra. So yeah, it's become a staple, keep stocked in the pantry kind of thing.
