I was researching vigorously on whether to purchase this Xiaomi Light Bar or the BenQ Halo Light bar. I believe the difference in price between the two units is about $100, with the Xiaomi being the more affordable option. I'll admit, I was wowed by all the bells and whistles that the BenQ Halo had to offer, but I'd figure I'd try the Xiaomi Lightbar first. And if I didn't like it, I'd just give it to my sister.But it turns out I really like this light bar. It's really the lack of bells and whistles that make me like this product so much. It's a very straight-forward product. I won't describe it here, but everything that it does, it does well enough. It's bright enough for my needs, when working late at night, and the color temperatures are sufficient as well. I don't need it to have crazy colors or blinking lights; I just need a cooler tone for the day, and a warmer tone for the evening.The wireless remote for the unit is cool, but a little flimsy. It's a matte black dial, with no etchings or descriptors on it, which fits the aesthetic of my desk. So that's a plus. When actually using it though, the dial feels flimsy, like the disk is about to unscrew itself. You press-in to turn the light bar on or off, but sometimes it doesn't register my press, which can be annoying.The one thing that I do like on the BenQ Halo is that there is an attachment that you can purchase that sits on the top of the light bar mount to hang your webcam off of. My webcam doesn't seem to want to work with my haphazard rigging onto the light bar, so it's off to the side, which isn't a great angle. Oh well.Overall, I really liked that I went with this Xiaomi light bar as opposed to the BenQ Halo light bar. I realized that I don't really need all the bells and whistles that the Halo offers, and that this Xiaomi bar is the best of the budget group. Besides the wireless remote, I haven't had much problems with this product. It tells me that sometimes all the bells and whistles of a product can get in the way of what you simply need sometimes.

This is a quality of life improvement I did not know I needed. I wanted a desk lamp that I could use to illuminate the center of my desk, but I didn't want to take up limited desk real estate. In my search for a lamp with a minimal footprint, I discovered the growing popularity of monitor mounted lamps and saw this one regularly featured for its quality compared to other far more expensive lights. I can understand why so many recommended it. The material quality is excellent, the clamp is surprisingly hefty, the materials are primarily metal, and the design is very clean. It doesn't feature an uplight for bias lighting, but I'd rather have a dedicated light for that purpose.I'm not concerned about the lack of RGB lighting, as I was interested in reducing eye strain and illuminating my desk, which the bi-color lighting serves perfectly. The range of brightness is excellent as well, I have no problems using it at night or during the day.The one con I've identified so far is that the control dial, while very responsive, is too sensitive. There are low resistance detents that provide tactile feedback when you rotate the dial. Ideally the brightness should change only when you've passed a detent, as their entire purpose is to be a form of tactile feedback that registers you've made an adjustment. Unfortunately the sensor detects the slight play between detents, making the haptic feedback superfluous and the brightness control somewhat erratic. Simply wiggling the dial slightly without ever passing a detent causes the brightness to jump up and down until it reaches either max or minimum brightness. If I'm trying to make a fine adjustment of one brightness level, the lamp will often suddenly increase or decrease an extra level than intended. It is also frustrating when having to combine this with pressing the dial to change the color temperature and having the temperature get warmer or colder in increments you did not intend. It's not such a huge issue that I have any regrets. I still fully recommend this lamp, I just hope they address this problem in any future revisions.

My son is in his 8th grade and always works on his homework in front of his computer, so I bought this Xiaomi for this. It's a little expensive as a monitor light, but the function, adjustable color, and dimmable light are really useful. The controller is very smooth and easy to use for a kid.

[Alles auf einen Blick]Die Xiaomi Mi Light Bar ist eine fantastische Light Bar mit guter Verarbeitung, toller Ausleuchtung, einfachen Bedienung und gutem Preis.[Verpackung & Inhalt]Die Xiaomi Mi Light Bar kommt in einer nicht allzu minimaoistischen aber trotzdem schönen Verpackung, welche alle Teile gut gepolstert und somit vor Schäden geschützt transportiert. Es muss also nichts schlechtes bedeuten wenn die Verpackung etwas ramponiert aussieht. Im Inneren finden sich neben einer Anleitung einmal die Light Bar an sich, mit einem Sockel, der runden Fernbedienung und einem USB-C auf USB-Kabel mit einer Länge von 120cm.[Einrichtung]Die Einrichtung geht sehr schnell vonstatten, dafür muss auch nicht die Anleitung gelesen werden. Als erstes wird der Sockel auf dem Bildschirm platziert, dieser verfügt über ein ordentliches Gewicht, welches man ihn nicht auf den Bildern zutrauen würde. Das ist in diesem Fall aber sehr positiv da er somit einen stabilen Halt gewährt auch wenn der Monitor anfängt zu wackeln. Hierbei sollte beachtet werden das der Monitor an der obersten Stelle nicht dicker ist als 3,3cm, da der Sockel für mehr anscheinend nicht konstruiert wurde. Im nächsten Schritt wird die Light Bar über integrierte Magneten am Sockel befestigt und die beiden Kontaktstellen miteinander verbunden, über die später der Strom fließt. Hier lässt einem der Hersteller die Möglichkeit offen den Wickel zu bestimmen, von allzu viel Spielraum kann man hier aber auch nicht sprechen. Schlussendlich muss das USB-C Kabel dann nur noch in die Rückseite der Light Bar eingesteckt werden und mit der USB-Seite an den Strom angeschlossen werden. Bevor nun die Light Bar in Betrieb genommen werden kann müssen noch 2 AAA Batterien in die Fernbedienung eingesetzt werden. Fertig.[Bedienung]Um die Light Bar zum Leuchten zu bringen muss man lediglich einmal auf die Fernbedienung drücken und das Licht geht an. Nun kann durch einfaches Drehen der Fernbedienung die Helligkeit eingestellt werden. Gegen den Uhrzeiger dimmt das Licht und mit dem Uhrzeiger erhellt das Licht. Beim gleichzeitigen Drücken und Drehen der Fernbedienung kann die Farbtemperatur eingestellt werden. Gegen den Uhrzeiger für wärmer und mit dem Uhrzeiger für kälter. Bei langem Drücken wird eine automatische Helligkeit und Farbtemperatur eingestellt die für das Arbeiten am Computer besonders schonend für die Augen sein soll (mittlere Helligkeit und maximale Wärme). Was hierbei auffällt ist das die obere Hälfte der Fernbedienung beim gleichzeitigem Drücken und Drehen etwas an der unteren Reibt und somit die Bedienung etwas eingeschränkt wirkt. Sonst ist die Verarbeitung der Fernbedienung tadellos.[Beleuchtung]Der Farbraum der sich einstellen lässt ist in einem angenehmen Spektrum, welches aber nicht überragend groß ist. Das bedeutet das man oft zwischen maximaler Wärme und Kälte wechselt.Bei der Helligkeit kann die Light Bar aber voll überzeugen, sie wird sehr hell und kann somit einen mittelgroßen Tisch sehr gut ausleuchten. Mein Tisch ist 140cm x 60cm groß. Vor dem Monitor ist die Ausleuchtung sehr hell und reicht auch an den vorderen Rand des Tisches. An den Ecken wird es etwas dunkler, aber noch völlig ausreichend um Texte zu lesen oder ähnliches.Das Licht wird matt aus der Light Bar gestreut was bedeutet das man nicht so leicht geblendet wird und das Licht einfach angenehmer verteilt wird. Das gelingt hier in vollem Umfang.[Persönliche Meinung]Die Xiaomi Mi Light Bar war eine hervorragende Wahl für mein Setup, da sie ein unschlagbares Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat. Die Ausleuchtung ist für meinen Schreibtisch einfach perfekt und die Bedienung mit der Fernbedienung schlichtweg genial. So etwas findet man kein zweites Mal. Das einzige was mich tatsächlich stört ist, das die Fernbedienung nicht perfekt verarbeitet ist und beim Drücken und Drehen, um die Farbtemperatur einzustellen, der obere Gehäuseblock am unteren reibt und somit die Bedienung sich etwas komisch anfühlt. Für mich aber definitiv kein Dealbreaker.[Fazit]Klare Kaufempfehlung!

La lámpara es genial, su montaje es muy sencillo y fácil, y funciona a la perfección. La rueda para configurarla es muy práctica, es la razón por la cual compré esta barra de luz. Es muy potente, más de lo que me esperaba, y los tonos cálidos y fríos son tienen un gran rango, así que es difícil que no te satisfaga. Puede colocar la barra a tu gusto y cambiar la inclinación como quieras, lo cual también ayuda. Además, la conexión de la barra de luz al soporte a través de "imanes" potentes hace que se maneje muy fácilmente. 10/10.
