It works great, helping soothe the skin, significantly reduces the amount of razors bumps that I get, and it smells amazing. This balm is just the best. You only need to use a very small amount each time you shave and although I bought mine some time ago, I still have not started my second bottle yet. Great value. I would not consider searching for an alternative when I need to buy again. It is also not greasy so there is no greasy feel that you need to wipe off. Love it
