At first I thought these were awful because they stuck together and were a gummy mess. But I have since found I love them. IGNORE THE COOKING INSTRUCTIONS! You have to stir them right away for at least the first 30 seconds otherwise the strands glue themselves together. Then leave them much longer than 4 mins. They are basically still raw at that point. Then I drain them and rinse a little with cold water to get the rest of the starch out. At that point they are good.

This thing cannot handle any cooking. Needs to be placed in bowl of hot soup for 5 min before eating.

Super easy to prepare drop noodles in boiled water to soften,rinse and add to dish or soup. Love it.

I don’t know what we’re expecting from a noodle, but I guess this checks all the boxes.

Third time making these tonight and I honestly don’t know why we continue to torture ourselves this way, other than the fact that this is the only brand of pho noodles our Whole Foods carries. Following the instructions just yields a big gummy mass of starchy noodles. We tried rinsing before and after with with after rinsing being the best of the worst but still so so slimy and starchy. We even had a third person with us tonight doing the noodle prep and she ran into the same issue. These noodles totally ruin a homemade pho. Or any other pho for that matter. There are other store bought brands of pho noodles that other grocery stores carry which cook perfectly. Spare yourself and look elsewhere for noodles. I’ll never do this to myself again.
