Wholly moly this window unit is great. It is the first one I have ever bought. Currently house central ac is down and I don’t have the money right now to drop 10k. So I purchased this unit as it had solid reviews. Probably the most in Bolo. It blasts cold ac , I have it set at 74 all day. And the unit doesn’t run constantly even during the hot 90-95 NC summer weather. Our downstairs is about 600-650 square feet. And surprisingly this 12kbtu unit that’s only rated at cooling 550aq ft. Keeps our downstairs colder than our central ac in its prime did. Right now the energy bill has been cheaper with it than central ac as well. Who would have thought.

Works absolutely amazing. My room traps heat like no other and it gets well above 80° in here during the summer. Since installing it’ll get my room cold enough to the point I can have a hoodie and sweatpants off and be more than comfortable. 4 stars because there’s no auto options, not remote. It also runs kind of loud but both of those things can be easily overlooked bc it cools the room so well, and you get used to the noise quickly

I never write reviews but I have to warn yall. I bought this 8/2023 I live in NY so it was end of summer when I got it. It worked fine but we didn't turn it on for a couple of months(winter months) and by the time spring around 4/2024 came it would not turn on out of no where. We only used it a handful of times. I luckily still had guarantee, I was upset because I live in 5th floor walk up but thankfully delivery miraculously brought it up. I did have to pay yet again for someone to install it. They did replace the AC-yay! Or so I thought fast forward we used their AC for summer 2024 and again don't use it during the winter months. During 12/2024 doing heavy lifting with putting up the Xmas tree I decided to turn on the AC....this replacement AC is now dead and I'm out of warranty. I thought I was investing in a good brand. I was sadly mistaken, waste of money

I purchased one of the cheaper ones on here I can’t remember which one. It completely cools the whole first floor about 1200sf but I remember that in the manual said it cool 250 sf. It makes the downstairs freezing cold. It is noisy but well worth it. It took two people to lift it onto the window sill.

Unit was delivered the day after purchase. It is a little loud but does produce a great amount of cold air. This unit keeps my living room, kitchen and laundry room very cool even during 95 degree days in Florida. Thats roughly a 700 sq ft area.Would recommend to buy, especially for the price. (Bought mine for $395 through Prime, $420 delivered including tax.)
