He loves the artwork on the cards. I really like them too. Nice quality. It's a very solid deck for his collection that is different from others he has.

I like collecting decks of playing cards, and love finding unique designs... I also am an engineer, so I the rare instances I find decks that have a robotics/mechanical design to them!The designs on the cards are really nicely done, and have a really fun aesthetic about them. Each one of the face cards actually has its own individual design.As for the quality, it's pretty decent. I'd say the thickness and feel of these cards are very similar to the Bicycle decks I own - so pretty average. Definitely not bad quality!I know I'm biased since I love the theme... but this is definitely one of my favorites in my collection. :]

These cards are a perfect texture and the font and pictures are really cool. The binary code is a rad touch. I would definitely recommend these for any card collector or as a cools gift.

Over the past couple years, I’ve fallen in love with non-standard playing card designs. I love seeing the imagination that artists put into alternate designs and using them adds a little extra to the playing card experience. This deck of robot themed cards fits up there with the better decks I’ve played with.The “Deck of Robots” cards come in a themed tuck box with a printed seal on the upper flap that pronounces that the box was “sealed by robot 3427.” In interior of the box is unprinted. Inside the box is the deck of cards with two jokers, a card advertising a card game called Spaceteam and a credits card. The credits card’s back is printed in a different color than the rest of the cards.The cards themselves are printed in black, gray, orange and red and of course, have a mechanical art deco robot theme. Each of the ace cards have a custom center design (unlike most decks that reserve that for the ace of spades). The court cards are all individualized with themes for each of the ranks. The kings have a package shipping theme, the queens a packing theme and the jacks a board/card/dice game theme.Each of the number cards have circuit lines running between the suit symbols and the number written in binary on the sides of the card. The whole theme is playful and imaginative and makes for a fun game time playing with them.I’m not sure who the manufacturer is, but they feel fairly high quality overall. They shuffle well and have an air cushion finish similar to Bicycle cards. Card thickness is similar as well.Bottom Line:This deck of robot themed cards is fun and well designed. Definitely worth a look. If you’re into alternate deck designs.

This "Stellar Factory Deck of Robots" playing card deck can easily be one of the best quality deck of playing cards you can have. It is made in USA (in KY) by United States Playing Card Company (USPCC), with casino-quality paper with a linen texture. Each card is 2.5 x 3.5 inches, standard "poker" size. The design is intriguing, very unique, and beautiful; I found myself fondling and staring at these cards and just admiring how interesting the graphics and design is.This deck of card is not cheap, but the card/paper quality and the printing is very, very good; and IMO, definitely worth the money. This is probably more of a collector deck, rather than a daily playing deck (no problem doing that tho). I have a friend who is nuts for robots. He collects them in every shape and size he can find, so when I saw this Stellar Factory Deck of Robots, I knew I had to get it for him. The cards are of a good quality and are standard poker size (my guess is that they are made by the US Playing Card Company, as they have a look and feel similar to the Bicycle decks they make). The artwork on the picture cards features robots with a Flash Gordon retro feel, and the pip cards have a circuitry motif. Another nice touch is that the seal on the deck says "sealed by robot 3427". Given that this is a novelty deck, with what I imagine is a fairly small target audience, $10 is a fair price for this deck.
