I bought this item because the original battery that came with my Ring doorbell (~5 years old) wouldn't charge anymore with the orange mini charging cable that came with it. This new purchase of 2 batteries and charge cradle so far seem good. They charge fairly quickly, but I haven't had a chance to utilize the batteries yet. An added plus is that the "old" battery that wouldn't charge via the orange cable is now charging in the new cradle. Cool.

I ordered the double batteries.So far.So good.The original RING outdoor camera battery was draining fast because of continuous monitoring and wouldn’t charge past 1 Orange and 1 green light.The new batteries charged in 3 hours while the original RING battery was still charging.I placed the original battery on the new charger and it charged in 4 hours,so I have 3 batteries to use.

I was hesitant to purchase this as it was NOT a RING brand but I bought it anyway after reading all the positive reviews. Honestly, both batteries work well with the RING cameras (+3points) and the charger functions even with my RING batteries (+2points). For that aspect, I would’ve gladly rated it FIVE STAR. ✋🏼HOWEVER, both sizes of these non-RING battery packs is slightly bigger than the official RING ones. Because of this, the battery doors of both my RING cameras DO NOT STAY SHUT (sadly deducting 2 points). Both of my RING cameras stay slightly ajar, eventually pop open, and remain open the whole time. The ONLY good thing is the cameras keep working and charging, but it’s definitely NOT SAFE for the cameras — which is pretty UPSETTING.To make matters worse, when I realized this issue, it was already past the return window — BUMMER! So, here I am STUCK with both (slightly large) size batteries. Now, every time I get a notification that the battery door is open, I have to step outside and tape it shut to protect it from moisture. It’s a total hassle e.v.e.r.y.t.i.m.e.I’ll be buying a new one soon — and making sure to get the right dimensions, etc. (or maybe get a RING brand this time). In conclusion, since these still technically do their job, I’ll be generous and rate this a 3-star. 😘
