They were super easy to install and work extremely well! Clamp quality is strong.

I put two of these latches on a 3 X 5 foot steel bear box/ trash can. Eventually (about 6 months) the top part of the latched bent, as a result of the bears pushing the lid open, and had to be replaced. I can't imagine the bear was able to apply 1300 lbs of force.

Packaged well yet minimal and material appears more than sufficient for the job. I used these on rabbit hutches and they function properly. Was especially glad that they are adjustable so you've got plenty of play for installation.Simple, affordable, and easy to install with provided hardware.
