I bought multiple different fuels. These give you a boost of energy that you need. The different flavors add a bit of variation. I am always looking forward to when I can get the fuel. They are easy to store in your running vest while runner and to quickly eat.

These type of products are very subjective, in my opinion. I won't go into super detail about how it made me feel or the taste because what's good for me, isn't good for someone else.What I really like about them are the ingredients. It's honey with some vitamins and electrolytes. I don't drink caffeine often so I'm also glad they don't have that in them. I like that it is a small quantity pack as well. I run 5k, 3 times a week and then run a 10k 1 time a week. So I don't really run far enough to need these that often. I am preparing for a half marathon and will need them for that. But other than when I do those long, long runs I won't need them. I don't want them to just sit and take up space or go bad, so it's nice that it's a small pack. I also liked that they send 2 flavors in the variety pack so it's not always the same flavor when you have them.The consistency is the same as honey, perhaps a slight bit more runny. I used to love those honey sticks as a kid so eating pure honey is nothing new to me and I don't mind the texture. The packets are easy to open when you're running as well which is a big plus.What I didn't like about them is that it appears there are different levels of sugar in the flavors. The Fruit Punch has 11g of total sugars while the Gold has 24g of total sugars. I don't know the reason for that but it would seem to me that the Fruit Punch would be less effective than the Gold for providing an energy boost based on those numbers. But, this could also be a selling point for others. Some people don't need as much sugar to get a boost and might prefer less sugar.Overall, I am very satisfied with these and will be ordering more when I have a longer race in the future.

My first time to participate in half marathon and my first time to take energy gel. I am a 47 year old male and finished in 2:16:16 with 10.30-10.40 mins./mile pace. I took one pack 5 minutes before my run and took another one half way. I NEVER WALKED! I usually walk when I get really tired but surprisingly I did not walk or slowed down. In fact, half way I increased my pace to 10.00-10.10 mins./mile. I was really surprised and proud with my performance!I was initially looking at the GU brand but it was all out of stock. I DID NOT REGRET at all purchasing Honey Stinger. Will purchase again on the next opportunity and will highly recommend!

Was using these for my 8+ mile runs but they are really hard to get down. They are very sweet and I have to chase with water for each little sip/bite I take. It literally takes me about a mile to get through the pack. It does refuel me and doesn’t upset my stomach but only if you are ok with the taste.

I'm a goo man, like my papi and his papi 'fore him. I've been consuming various goos all my life, and these are by far the most satisfactory goos. Being a goo man like myself, I can assure you that these goos will comply with all your goo needs. If you eat these goos, you will become a great goo man like me someday.

The product does what it says it will do, deliver a targeted dose of energy via a honey-based glucose shot. It's only 90 calories, packs plenty of carbs for sustained energy, but the flavor is WAY too sweet for me( the gold).. the fruit smoothie flavor is a little less sweet.
