It heats fast, highly controllable simple to clean. Just a high quality machine.My room mate uses it almost every day to cook eggs, hamburger, veggies in and iron skillet on the back porch to keep the smoke out of the house.I use it to cook pasta in a 8qt Pot. inside the house. Cooks Steak very hot. And I grilled onions on lower heat.It has passed every test I could think of throwing at it, trying to see if it could take heavy use. It can no with no problem.Be sure to use it on level surface. I melted an arc in the control panel plastic when my skillet slid off the glass, my bad. But I'm hoping that Mueller can send me a new plastic panel to fix it. James in Texas

This larger single burner worked great with this 9.5 diameter pot. I was looking for a single burner to be able to make a great crab stock outside. My family has banned me from making shellfish/crab stock in the house. With this great burner I can make great stock without stinking up the house. I will be able to make the best Whiskey Crab Soup, African whitefish soup and any other dish that calls for fish/crab/shrimp stock. I was able to cook as low as 140 degrees and up to 450 degrees. Glad I purchased and I hope it continues to work well!

I bought this hot plate, because I didn't have a stove for a bit and was considering changing to induction.This thing is AMAZINGLY fast at boiling water. I timed it, and it boiled a gallon of water in less than 2 minutes. It is taking a bit of getting used to, but I really like it.There are a couple things that I don't appreciate. The first thing is, the tempature control could be more fine tuned. It jumps around in 40 and 50 degree intervals. Sometimes it is just a bit too hot and I turn it down and then it is a bit too cool, or vice-versa.You do have to make sure you have the correct type of cookware. If a magnet sticks to the bottom it will work. If you lift your pan you have I think 30 seconds to put it back on or it will shut off, unless you hit the lock button.It has a very low setting for keeping things warm, but I haven't used that yet.I like how it just heats the pot and really keeps the surrounding area cool, except for the spot where the pot actually was. I also like that it is small enough to take with you camping, tailgating or to an outside party. You will need a power inverter or generator if no plug is available.I am glad I bought this and super glad it works with cast iron, because I love to cook with that. It has been a nice introduction to induction cooking and I look forward to my new cooktop for my kitchen.

This induction burner is of good quality. I have owned several through out the years and rate this the best! It heats quickly and most importantly it heats evenly all around the burner. Solidly built and looks good on counter top. Easy to use also!

Multiple temperature settings, timer function, just no need for any other features. I love mine!Talk about easy cleaning…if splatter or overspill occurs just a wipe with a paper towel and it’s clean. Probably should let it cool first since heat transfer betwixt cooking surface and pot or pan you’re using. You can use a microfiber cloth to restore luster to surface if desired. Makes it look brand new! My favorite purchase of 2024 (so far)!

Bought this for down at our camp so I can cook outside and enjoy more outside time during the summer and not have to be trapped inside the motorhome while everyone else is outside. I have used this a few times and it worked great.

This is my first induction cooktop and I am extremely satisfied with the product. Appears to be a quality cooktop and the rapid boil is extremely "rapid". The instructions are lacking so trial and error has helped. I previously purchased a two burner electric stove top for my RV and regretfully did not take the new Mueller on my latest camping trip. The old unit is so incredibly slow to heat/boil that it is being donated and I'll use the Mueller on all future trips. To determine if your cookware is compatible, just place a magnet on the bottom on the pan - if it adheres - you're all set! Very pleased and hoping for a long life span of this project.
