This is my first ever Bolo review, but I loved this product so much that I felt I had to share my experience! I bought this out of sheer desperation simply for the “ok to wake” function. My 18 month old had been waking between 5 and 6am for over 6 months, and literally nothing I did helped him sleep any later. We already had a cheap white noise machine, so when I first heard of this product, I balked at the price, thinking I didn’t need it for the other features. I first purchased a cheaper “ok to wake” product, but found it difficult to operate, and poorly designed and made. I finally purchased the Hatch Rest, thinking if it didn’t work out, at least Bolo would let me return it.Now, I had serious doubts about my 18 month old’s ability to understand and abide by the “ok to wake” concept. But mom needs a little time to herself in the morning, so I was willing to give it a shot despite my reservations. The beauty of this product is the app and Bluetooth capability. I set the clock for 6am the first night and told my son that when the light turned green in the morning, he could get up for the day. For the record, my 18 month old can only say about 10 words... but he seems to comprehend a lot. The next morning, he woke at 5:30. I wasn’t about to let him cry for 30 long minutes, so I opened the app, changed the wake up time to 5:35, and then when the light turned on, went into his room and did a big dramatic wake up. I said, “look, your light is green, that means it’s time to wake up!” I then turned on the lights, threw open the curtains... made a big deal of it. Over the next few days, I gradually set the clock back little by little, and he started sleeping a little later each day. After a week, I was able to set the clock to 7:30 (my ideal wake up time for him). He woke the first few days a little earlier, and I would just tell him through the baby monitor talk function that his light wasn’t green, and I kid you not— he laid down and went back to sleep until the light came on. Now if he wakes a few minutes early, he just plays in his crib and waits for the light. I can’t believe that this worked, but it did. And now I feel like I have to spread the word!I actually loved this so much, that I bought a 2nd one for my 3 year old. He loves it. He plays in his room until his light comes on at 7:30, and also stays in his room to play or look at books during “quiet time” in the afternoon. He loves choosing a nightlight color and sound on the app every night. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this product... try it!

This is the best sound machine! Both of my toddlers have one in their rooms and we just bought a third for our new baby.* The machine itself is a great size, looks nice, and blends nicely with most decor.* The sound quality is great and has lots of available options. If you're unsure what to set, the app provides helpful tips and routines created to help your newborn with easeful sleep.* The app is so user-friendly and it's straight-forward and intuitive to set light and sound levels. If waking a kid from a nap I'll lower the volume and turn on the light so they can start to wake up gradually, or if we're having company I'll turn the volume up to help block out the noise - all while remote.* Beyond the app, it's simple to turn off/on or adjust on the device itself and my toddlers love tapping the top to do themselves. I also like how easy it is to switch from one saved program to another with a single tap - particularly useful during nighttime feedings or diaper changes.So far we've only used it for the sound machine and light functionality and already can't live without, but I'm excited to start using the "time to rise" feature as the kids get a little older. Having the sound machine, night light, clock, and this feature all in one really makes this worth the investment!

Always wanted to get one with my first baby. I got to get one with second and absolutely love it. Being able to see the clock is brilliant.Still figuring things out as it arrived today but so far so good. My newborn slept within seconds each nap.Also thanks for quick delivery 🙌🏼
