My brother in law is tattoo artist. He is working in a tattoo on my calf. The first part of the tattoo was hurting me since it was done close to the ankle. He recommend me this cream and OMG, it started working since day 1, I put some on the tattoo and I was able to work better. The tattoo started healing, 3 days later, I can say it was healed. I'm about to go for the second part of the tattoo, and I will, definitely, use this cream for the healing process again.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My tattoo artist highly recommended me to use this specific brand for aftercare (I usually use Aquaphor). It was very thick in consistency and I think it worth pretty well. The only issue I had with it is that my tattoo was itching so much more than usual (I already have many tattoos). Maybe it's not as good for sensitive skin? I'm not 100% if the ointment was the cause of the itchiness but that was just my experience. The tattoo still healed well so overall it was good.

I loved this ointment for healing. Its quite thick - like la roch posay's cicaplast if you've ever used it. I found I really had to leave it to dry before dressing or risking it touching things I interacted with, but my tattoo healed flawlessly and I will use this for future ones.
Moisturises well
Im glad how it comes in a small tube. Thick sticky consistency but that's because it keeps the skin well moisturised and ease off the itchiness when the tatt is healing
A good solid tattoo cream, if a tiny bit thick
I love the price point on this tattoo cream. Its a small but mighty tube and I've never finished one.I tend to get a bunch of tattoos close together and then go 6 - 12 months without, meaning for sanitary reasons I buy new tubes of cream and this cream doesn't make me feel wasteful.It isn't overly sticky though it can feel a bit thick depending on your style of tattoo.I like the cream and will continue using and reusing it but I do tend to like the consistency of Dr Pickles better for smaller, fine line tattoos as I think this would perhaps smother them. I find myself reapplying the Bepanthen twice a day (maybe three times if I've showered twice) but otherwise it keeps the tattoo hydrated and moist longer in comparison to other creams where I'd need to apply three times a day.
