She is very satisfied with this Philips CD, cassette player and radio. What a wonderful throwback of the 80s and 90s. She teaches aerobics classes that can use her CDs. Even still have cassettes. The sound quality is great! My iPhone can be connected, also a microphone can be connected. Solid frame, nice color, buttons are sturdy, and light weight. Her second retirement will give her lots of time to enjoy this gift.Five stars rating.

I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS CAREFULLY. I agree that the sound on this item is very weak. This is confirmed by my grandson who said " that radio isn't very good" . I guess you get what you pay for, but here is a product that has been manufactured for decades. You would think that even a low end version would get it right. Unfortunately this item will make it to my garage sale bin soon enough. It works, nothing defective-just below average performance when it comes to sound quality.

Sound quality is great for both CD and Cassette. Since it's a good quality it also plays some audio cassettes that had issues playing in my walkman, so am happy to have this player.Please note to use a step down transformer of 220/240V to 120V(you can definitely get it on Bolo, I had got one earlier from Bolo 12 years ago and it is still good). There was a delay in delivery by the seller but they called me and provided excellent updates on when I will receive it since it is imported from US, it takes time, but patience pays. Overall I am happy with the purchase, again do use a step down transformer for this player, it's a good one!

Happy to listen to the old collection of cassettes and cd’s which needs to be digitalized now. The sound is clear as always for Philips. Needs adapter as the pin is HK/US type.
