Operation Steps:
1. Insert the code card into the chip socket of the device and setup time,date,unit first.
2.Press the power button to start up. The code number of the code card will be displayed on the screen. Confirm the code number is consistent with code number on the bottle.
3.Take out the test strip, insert it to the analyzer. Waiting for the flashing sample symbol to appear on the screen.
4. Add samples.Use a sample collection tube to obtain sufficient samples. Please use the second drop of sample for testing.
5. When start to test, the three-segment line keeps flashing. Display the test results after 15 seconds.

I live this little machine. Took it to a Dr appt. He took blood to test and I got this out and did a test and he compared results and said my machine was more accurate because the HCT was closer to 3 times the HGB than their test was. It was close to theirs, tho. Just wish my code chip thing didn't expire and now I can't use the machine. Can't get a hold of the company to find out what to do.

I took three readings: 13.8, 15.4 and 18.4. Don’t bother with this. Waste of money and time. I couldn’t understand why my doctors readings were vastly different to my home readings. Now I know why. Useless

It works and it accurate. As a RN who has used meters in the past I would suggest using the fourth blood drop rather than the second. But it is a great little machine for the price.
