They weren't lying when they said MEGA SOUR. I'm usually good with sour stuff, but this made me gag, LOL. Now once the sour wore off, it became sweet. The flavors are great! My daughter loves these for sour challenges. It's a good size bag and great quality candy. Worth the money for this candy. My husband brought the rest to work with him to see how his coworkers would react, and they made some funny faces. Will buy again when we run out and want to do more "sour challenges."

I bought the Barnetts Mega Sour Fruits because it was trending, but honestly, it was a big letdown. Despite the warning label, none of the flavors were actually sour — just weird and unpleasant tasting. I tried them all hoping one would stand out, but nope, all were equally disappointing.If you’re doing it just for the viral trend or to joke around with friends, then sure — it might be funny to watch each other’s reactions. But if you’re genuinely looking for a tasty sour candy, this isn’t it. I wouldn’t recommend it for flavor. Just a one-time “haha” purchase at best.

The sour candy was okay. Very acidic and candies were expensive for being such a small amount of them. Had fun trying them even though some were broke don't think I would buy them again.

There is no argument that these are very sour! The candy itself is very good. I thought they were sour all the way through but they are only coated in a sour powder. They are a little pricey but fun for kids and adults to try.

So, after reading a lot of the comments and seeing people whining about the candy being stuck together and then other people saying it’s good I decided to give it a shot. My daughter’s and I tried this sour candy as we all love sour candy, and I have to say and they agree as well that this is definitely the most sour candy we have ever had. Now, yes, ours was stuck together in the bag as well, but not all of them. But what a lot of people don’t understand that are whining in their reviews is that this candy is also sugar based like most candy is and of course, when the candy gets around any kind of heat of any sort, it is going to melt some of the sugar, causing it to stick together a little bit. But at the end of the day, definitely worth the buy, and we will buy it again once the feeling to our tongues return. Also, the lady with the super long nails that did the whinyreview about it being stuck together, Edward Scissorhands called and wants your number….

They are certainly the most intensely sour candy out there, but unfortunately the purity of the sour powered leaves a bad taste of chemicals. He hard candy part isn’t great either, taste wise.

Ugh! Disgustingly sour! 😩. This by far is worse than the "warheads". Will FORCE contorted expressions on face. DON'T HAVE ANOTHER ONE, and DON'T EAT A BOWL OF THEM AS A "CHALLENGE".Just make sure your cameras working well when you film it. One eaten is a one off. The sourness will wear off if you are worthy ⚔️🏆. Malic acid at it's best 👍

They are EXACTLY what they say they are!
You know how when you buy a hot chilli sauce or some sour sweets which brag about how hot/sour they are, but in actual fact they're crap? Well, Barnetts weren't having any of that, these are singlehandedly the sourest sweets that have ever passed my lips, they have a warning on the back so you know they're good! Toxic waste? Pitiful. Warheads? Ha! My mother can finish those off.But in saying that, they also taste great, the first 15 seconds you'll be pulling all kinds of faces while you get through the sour layer, but the sweet underneath is also really good, the apple taste like apple, the cherries are nice, the cola is good too, the lemon... well, here's a tip, save this one till last, god damn.Only drawback? Well, you're paying £4.50 for a bag of 10 sweets. It's not great. But, its nice that a product actually does what it says on the packet, so maybe it's worth paying that premium. If you're the kind of mucker who enjoys their sweets unapologetically, mentally sour, you can't get any stronger than these. Give them a go!
Sourer than other sour sweets, but still manageable for lovers of sour
These were very good. The flavour underneath tastes great and the sour on the outside is very strong. Some of the other reviews describe them as unedible but to be honest I think they are manageable for fans of the sour taste. Wouldnt eat more than 3 in a day tho or your tongue will be like sandpaper and your teeth like the walls of a 50 years smokers council house.
