This regulator works great for my mig 200 5 in one mig welder. The quality is very good and the gages are easy to read. I loke the floating ball design that is easy to see. Overall this regulator is a great value for the price.

I have a Hobart Handler 180 Mig Welder. I moved about 7 years ago and had to wait for a garage renovation with a new workshop before I could hook it up. I finally had a need to use it, to weld a broken frame on my ATV snowplow and I couldn't find the regulator. Somehow I lost it in the move or the 7-year waiting period.I ordered this one because it seemed to have everything I needed and looked like a better setup. I never really liked the original valve because it used a barb connector and hose clamp. I know the Argon gas is delivered at low pressure, it's non-flammable and non-explosive, and a clamp is sufficient, but I still didn't like it.I read reviews and saw several people claiming that you couldn't connect the hose to the regulator without cutting the end off and using the barb. Based on the pictures I couldn't see why that would be so I went ahead with the order. To all the people who can't get the hose connected, you are either missing a piece, got the wrong piece, or don't realize that you take the barb out of it's adapter and use the adapter to connect the hose. If you're reading this review then let me assure you, the hose connects to the regulator if you use the adapter correctly.The valve worked flawlessly for my snowplow project. I wish I could say the same for my welding skills. The 7 years of waiting didn't do my skills any favors.

Replaced my Victor unit with this one after it developed a leak. I hooked up this new one and pressurized it and sprayed it down with a soapy solution and don't find any leaks as claimed by many 1 star reviews. Let's hope it lasts for a long time.

Seems like a decent quality regulator
Fast set up and easy to use
This is a good quality product at a great price. Comes with adaptors to install different ways as required
Lead ends fittings don't fit the regulator clamp is poor quality and the fittings NPT - no good
Whilst the regulator comes with a gas line it has completely wrong fitting attached. You do get a single female coupling and a poor quality hose clamp- you have to cut you gas line . Also the flow meter (floating ball) has Argon and CO2 scale. Not sure on accuracy and male cone fittings are nor rubber nut machined brass. Not exact mating to cylinder outlets so care and check for leaks regularly- additionally the main fitting to the bottle is a USA NPT thread and does not fit Australia BSP gas bottle threads. - whilst you can change the nit - the added cost and messing around- not worth the headache. Do not buy for Australia
Hose fittings not compatible
Ordered the regulator flowmeter kit along with the hose. The regulator and flowmeter look reasonable quality. The supplied hose also looks reasonable quality with crimped male fittings at each end. The issue I have is the hose fittings are too big for the supplied regulator connection. The regulator comes with a loose hose connection, so in order to get this to work, I would have to cut off one of the hose crimped connections, then fit the supplied hose connection with jubilee clamp. The reason I purchased the regulator kit with hose was to have proper crimped connections that should last longer then my old pushfit connectors. Sent back for refund.
