I would rate JBL Bluetooth speakers with INFINATE stars if I could! Portable, durable, the sound quality is BETTER than I anticipated which is FANTASTIC bc I own so many JBL Bluetooth speakers I had high expectations. Congratulations JBL, once AGAIN you've EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!!! I have several versions of the JBL 3, 4 & sound bar. The JBL 3 speaker has been through years of use and abuse and STILL WORKS!! EXCELLENT VALUE FOR THE MONEY AS ALWAYS FROM JBL!!!❤️ The carabineer is much larger than I expected too😃

I bought the speaker for my golf bag and it is perfect. Not too loud to bother other people on the course, but provides me a good quality sound for my round. The battery lasts more than 18 holes.

Great loud sound, good bass, no vibrations. Seems sturdy with an integrated clip to hold it. Roughly the size of the palm of your hand. Vibrant colors.

I love it! It has added a nice dimension to being at home. I don't have a fancy sound system or Alexa or Siri speakers. This JBL is an uncomplicated way to carry sound around as I tidy up. I famously hate housework and being able to listen to books, music, radio stations (via websites), and podcasts while I walk around doing mindless but necessary tasks has been a relief. My home is still from magazine-worthy but at least I can learn something while cleaning. I also use it at night to listen to music from my phone while reading in bed and outside in the summer. It connects very well to all of my bluetooth devices, although if I change from smartphone to computer I have to turn off the smartphone bluetooth first if it's nearby. The sound is excellent and volume is easily adjustable from the device. There is a button on the front that allows you to pause/resume what's playing on the computer. The carrying case is really, really nice especially for traveling and it's also a good place to keep the charging cord so it doesn't get lost.

I am writing this review just to provide a some initial personal product feedback. I am giving this product 4 stars because they don't have a 3.5 or 3.75. Here are the reasons:Pros:1. Good solid construction.2. Sound for its size is very good. Even has rubber padding to absorb surface vibrations3. Good simple design and easy to use.Cons:1. The device sometimes powers down for no apparent reason. When turned back on it is fine and may not shutdown again for the entire listening experience. This is the largest reason for the star loss.2. It is important to turn the sending device on before the Clip 4 or you will need to find the Clip 4 on your transmitting device. This is just an annoyance but not critical once you know how the devices responds to other devices.3. IMPORTANT for me; The Clip 4 does not have aux cable capabilities. Although this was known prior to purchase, I did not realize how many other products still need a cable. For example, my mini projector. On my trip I want to listen to music in the day and watch a movie in the evening. This missing functionality is going to force me to take the old device which does not have the same sound quality.All-and-all, I am happy with the device. If these two issues were addressed I would sing it praises. However, it is my go-to device when all I need is Bluetooth.Hope this helps someone.Bill

Had a cheap waterproof bluetooth speaker that quit after a seemingly short time of easy mostly inside use. Decided to spend more to get a well respected name. It was worth it. Much better sound quality. Large easy to use clip. Wanted to carrying case for travel since I like to take a bluetooth speaker on trips.
