DO NOT USE AIR IMPACT TOOL.
Feature
1. Tools required adjustable wrench, open end wrench, or air wrench. Do not use impact wrench as it will damage the bead
2. Place bead breaker onto the rim with teeth and breaker foot between rim and tire bead. Tighten rim clamp jaw until
snug with hand wrench. Make sure bead breaker teeth and foot are against bead. Continue tightening with wrench until snug.
3. Do not overtighten! Turn bead breaker nut clockwise to engage foot with bead. Continue to turn clockwise until bead is broken loose from rim. Process may be repeated in 2 to 3 locations on each side of the wheel.

I've been trying for a few days to pop the bead on my old Ford Tractor rear wheel. Tried everything that I had with no luck. Bought this little dandy and it did the job in a few minutes. I oiled the threads and used an old monkey wrench to turn the screws since I didn't have a socket that fit that was nearby. Worked like a charm. Highly recommended.

It works for tractor tires. It’s a bit of a pain to get started especially if you are doing it alone and the wheel is still mounted on the tractor. But it does work once it finally hooks up.
