I love the look - black, sleek and simple - it fits in my traditional kitchen. I love the different temperature settings. I heat up water for my dog's food on the lowest (140) setting and for my tea on the highest setting (212). It feels like a product that will last years - I hope. I use mine about 5 times a day. All of the other kettles I have owned (7) break down after a few months or a year or 2. I have had this 7 months so we will see, but so far no hitches. I had to contact customer service and I would give the guy I spoke with 10 stars. Stayed with me on the phone until I tested his answer on the kettle. I love that the company strives for excellence and has been in business since 1731! I love using it and the feeling of connecting to such an excellent company. The touch screen is easy - just a light touch of my finger. I like that it stays black until I touch it and then the temperature options all light up. It feels good to use a perfectly crafted kettle! I paid more for this kettle than any other I have owned but it seems beyond worth it. If I can, I will write another review in a few years and hopefully be able to say even more good things about it!

For context, I'm mainly comparing this to the KRUPS BW801852, which is around half the price.The Zwilling boilers is nice looking. Plastic but premium feeling. And it boils to the temp you ask it to. Good so far. I have a few drawbacks to mention.1. The boiler cannot tell you the current temperature of the water inside. There is no display or anything - it just beeps when it arrives at the target. The Krups unit had such a display, which was handy because you can glance at it and know about how much longer it will take from where it's at.2. When heating water, it will kinda turn quiet right before the end, and then seemingly turn on a few seconds later. It's weird because it kinda tricks you into thinking it's done, but it hasn't beeped yet. If I remove it from its base during this quiet window and then replace it, it will boil (212 deg), even if that wasn't the setting. Odd behavior, that.3. This unit has a power button. You have to turn it on and then select a temperature. You can leave it on all the time, but then the display will stay illuminated. With other boilers, you can skip the intermediate step because they wake up when you press buttons.4. Note that it's a capacitive light-up buttons that are fixed by region. No switching between F and C. It's not a screen. The pictures on this Bolo listing include C readings, which I had hoped to get.5. This boiler has a base with a chin extending out. It's a handsome base and it's not large. But I do want to note that the Krups unit has the screen integrated into the boiler itself and does not have the chin jutting out.6. Some other boilers (not the Krups) have dials for precise temperature settings. Up to you if you think you might need that. I don't feel the need and Zwilling has not included it here.Overall, I want potential buyers to know that you'd get a fairly premium-feeling boiler that isn't functionally superior to another boiler that retails at half the price.

It's an ok kettle while it works. The major downside being the lack of water level indication.The biggest issue is the customer support. I reached out to them about warranty and they never responded back.In my case the sealer ring on the base broke. There is a connection point where the kettle connects to the base. And there is a plastic ring around it with a rubber washer that seals it. It looks like it's supposed to protect the electrics in the base from the accidental water spills. This plastic ring broke on mine. Now nothing prevents water from getting inside the base, which feels dangerous. All three screw points failed and broke. They were either over tightened or couldn't handle the continuous use. Not sure exactly how it would happen. There was no damage to the ring, just normal use.

Design is lovely, clean and light weight. Specialty is gauging the temp of the water. Designed in two capacities 1 and 1.5 Liters. Love this electric kettle! No auto turn off feature, however, once you identify that feature is not there, you turn it off after completed need, not hard to do.

First thing I did was inspect every surface that would touch the water. Didn't find anything that wasn't stainless steel. So not adding anything problementic to my water. Yeah! Also didn't find a minimum water line so making small amounts if fine, less water and energy wasted.I also tested the temperatures at each setting other than the baby bottle setting and they were precisely matched on my thermometer.The cool touch is effective and the buttons easy to navigate. The keep warm truly keeps it at the stated temp which my Breville I used to have did not.After 3 months owning one, I'm so happy with it for safety (cool touch) and having all the features I wanted, from temp specific heating, nontoxic interior, and a coutertop display worthy sleek design that I just bought a second for my aging parents.

Hochwertiger und vielseitiger Wasserkocher
Ich habe mir vor dem Kauf online verschiedene Wasserkocher angesehen und bin zum Schluss gekommen, dass dieser Wasserkocher, wenn man ein Preislimit bis 80 EUR setzt, für mich die beste und schickste Wahl ist. Im Folgenden möchte ich die Gründe erläutern:Produktqualität:Der Wasserkocher erscheint relativ groß und ist außen vollständig aus Kunststoff, das betrifft den Deckel, das Gefäß und den Sockel. Jedoch muss man beachten, dass der Kocher nach außen isoliert ist und nicht warm werden soll (was auch sehr gut funktioniert), das rechtfertigt das Material. Wertig sieht er allemal aus, zudem ist er sehr gut verarbeitet. Innen besteht er aus einem kantenlosen Edelstahlgefäß, also prima zu reinigen ohne Stellen, an denen sich etwas absetzen kann, ohne dass man hinkommt. Der Griff ist stabil, der Knopf zum Öffnen des Deckels funktioniert einwandfrei.Funktionen:Der Kocher hat eine gute Temperaturauswahl, aber nicht stufenlos. Man hat die Wahl zwischen 40, 60, 70, 80, etwas über 90 und 100 Grad, steuerbar via Touch. Es gibt eine Warmhaltefunktion, die 30 min anhält.Bemängeln würde ich Folgendes, jedoch finde ich das für diesen Preis kein Manko, lediglich erwähnenswert: man muss ca. 2 Sek. die entsprechenden Symbole anwählen, schneller geht es nicht. Zudem muss der Kocher vor jedem "Befehl" angeschaltet werden und abschließend wieder ausgeschaltet werden. Ein Beispiel: man kocht Wasser auf nimmt den Kocher aber früher von der Station und setzt ihn danach wieder drauf. Nun fährt der Kocher mit dem Kochvorgang fort. Wer das nicht möchte, muss ihn zwingend extra mit dem 2-Sek-Druck ausschalten. Man gewöhnt sich dran;)Zudem kann man keine genaue aktuelle Temperatur ablesen, schade, aber lediglich ein netter Zusatz, den man nicht zwingend braucht, da man immer wieder gezielt auf die gewünschte Temp. hochheizen oder einfach die Warmhaltefunktion nutzen kann.Ein weitere Fakt ist, dass der Deckel nicht bis 90-Grad aufgeht. Zumindest für mich eine Umgewöhnung, aber kein Kritikpunkt. Die Kochzeit ist schnell und nicht allzu laut, auch nutzt der Kocher Restwärme der Heizelemente, schaltet also schon früher aus und gibt dann mittels Piepton etwas später Bescheid, dass die gewünschte Temp. erreicht ist. Das ist eine ganz gute Sache.Bestellvorgang und Versand: Der Bestellvorgang lief wie immer bei Bolo prima und unkompliziert. Ein klarer Kritikpunkt: obwohl ich zu einem Zeitpunkt bestellt habe, in welchem noch Wasserkocher vorrätig waren und somit direkt lieferbar, habe ich anderthalb Wochen auf das Produkt gewartet, der Liefertermin hat sich erheblich verschoben.Fazit: Klare Kaufempfehlung! Für alle, die Wert auf ein schickes Produkt in der Küche legen und für ihre bspw. Tees eine gute und vielseitige Temperaturregelung brauchen, treffen mit diesem Kocher eine gute Wahl!

Es una jarra con control de temperatura fácil de usar. El diseño es minimalista y me gusta el aspecto de su base, la uso para calentar el agua para mi té y principalmente lo compré para reemplazar una terera de vidrio que rompí y no pude reparar o hacer válida la garantía (punto negativo para cuisinart que no ofrece reemplazos). Así que compré ésta que no es de vidrio.Como puntos en contra, puedo decir que no soy muy fan del tamaño de la jarra, es muy grande y ocupa mucho espacio. El siguiente punto es el precio, podrías conseguir alguna otra jarra eléctrica con las mismas funciones por un mejor precio entonces toma eso a consideración.

Definitivamente es un electrodoméstico de alta calidad en todo los sentidos. El agua se mantiene caliente después de hervir y te va marcando en la pantalla de temperatura tiene (en Fahrenheit) y tiene varias opciones de uso, como “mantener caliente”, que se hierve el agua solito de nuevo después de 30 minutos.El agua solo tiene contacto con acero inoxidable, lo cual fue justo lo que buscaba para disminuir la contaminación de plástico en el agua que tomamos.10/10
