One hand to put your phone in. One hand to take it out. It doesn’t get any better than this. Doesn’t block your vents?! Heck yes! I have 2 of these holders. One for our Atlas and one for our GTI. Have had them both for months and no complaints. Occasionally I do have to tighten it. But it’s fast and easy. Love this phone holder.

If you have a VW GTI this holder is a must. Snaps into place for a secure fit, unlike the holders that clip onto a vent. Holder still retains that slick sporty look that goes with your cars interior.

This mount which is designed to fit several years of the late model VW GTI didn’t fit my 2019 without a small amount of customization and a piece of 3M two sided rubber tape. Once installed the phone mount works fine. Thank you, George

I tried a couple of holders supposedly made for Golf. They clipped to the vent slats and fell off at every sharp turn. I'm so happy this one stays one and doesn't obstruct anything.

(2020 Golf Installation) We were a little mystified at first as the box instructional pictures were not ideal (see picture).The installation trick was to remove the hazard switch from the console (we did it by accident as it slides out), clip on the phone holder with the 4 small plastic clips on the back, then push the hazard switch back into to the console where the hazard switch will clip in properly.Fits the phone very well, unless there is a case as seen in the pictures. Might be able to bend the metal points outwards to fit, though we have not tried this yet.
