I have had two major back surgeries within 40 days. Also have circulation problems and neuropathy in my feet. I needed the water exercise but couldn’t lift the pool covers.This enables me to lift one panel, then with one very weak arm I can lift both with assistance from the hydraulic arms.Great product.I had it installed and 2x6 placement so the lift is installed with solid foundation.

The lift installed easy enough, but the locking mechanism on the hydraulic arms was broken. I tried several times to contact customer service to have the part replaced. They do not answer the phones and want you to contact them via e-mail. I have sent six e-mails with one automatic reply saying they received the first one, but silence now for four weeks. The lift is now dangerous to use because the cover closes with any wind at all. Our six year old had the cover hit him on the head. We have to wire the cover open when using. Extremely dissatisfied.

A hydraulic lifter is a huge improvement, especially since I upgraded to the heavier top of the line cover guy cover. The cover lifts easily, but even though I used the templates to place the lifter, when open, the bottom rests against the back of the tub and cover sits at an angle so the mid section (at the top) sits over the rear seats which makes getting in and out challenging. I cannot move the assembly further back as the corners of the tub are rounded. And while product quality is good (this is my 3rd purchase from cover guy) their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. They have not returned phone calls or emails and when I do catch them on the phone, they don't seem to be able to give much helpful advice. Good quality, funky position on the lifter and poor customer service, but in the end, the products have been good quality.

The media could not be loaded. It took me 3-4 hours to install. Instructions are abysmal!! To attach the brackets to the side of the hot tub it takes 24 screws, which are supposed to be 1 inch in length. The package came with 24, 3.5 inch screws! I had to go out and buy screws for it. I have a brand new cover (from the Cover Guy) and after installing the lifter. It pulls upward on the center seem and there is no way this upward pulling on the seem will last. Although it is easy to lift, which is why I bought it, assembling it and the way it works is awful. I wouldn’t buy it if any of you are considering it.

I was actually shocked that the instructions were good enough to follow. Other reviewers had me concerned about that part but I had no issues. (Okay yes the screws listed as 1" long are really 3" long but that wasn't a problem) Everything went perfectly on the installation and it works great lifting our 8'X8" Bullfrog spa cover and looks much nicer and more finished than the one it replaced. My wife has arthritis issues and she is able to work the cover on her own now. Note I am an intermediate skilled handywoman and you may find it harder or easier than I did

Installation was easy and the directions were very straightforward. The hardest part was drilling the holes in the cabinet and I had to take my time positioning the templates. Once installed it works very well.

It used to take me and another person to put the lid on the tub, now I can do it with ease by myself, with one hand. Wasn't thrilled about losing some line of sight on one side with the tub open, but have adjusted to it. Looks well made, simple design, but does what it needs to do.

This product locally was much more and I had it delivered to me within days of ordering.

I used this as a replacement for my existing, undersized cover lift. Easy to install and working well so far. Great product at a more than fair price.

Purchased this because the ad made it seem like it would install easily on all makes of hot tubs provided you have the right fit- it does not... the lag bolts provided need to be screwed into the side of the hot tub, which does not work well on anything but a wood tub it seems. Mine has a plastic surround with insulated and the bolts have nothing to catch. The worst part is their return policy which they've conveniently buried in the HELP tab, which you would not typically refer to until AFTER you purchased.... restocking and shipping costs ends up being close to $100 to return this junk. This is why you should buy local and avoid 3rd party sellers on Bolo.... Bolo not being helpful either...they simply keep referring me back to the seller.... so much for a Prime membership.

Works great for the hottub. Takes about 3/4 of a hour to install so quite fast. There is quite a number of screws but what we like is they have a plastic covering over the screws so it looks better and keeps the water out
