Start with this coffee, and let this be the standard by which you compare all other coffees.Why did coffee get a bad name? There are many direct reasons, but here’s one that’s often overlooked: did you know these aren’t really “beans”? Coffee “beans” are actually coffee cherry pits. Yes, coffee fruit.Have you ever tried to extract a pit from a cherry or a peach? It’s not exactly easy. Now imagine leaving it on the ground to rot...just letting it sit there for a few days. Maybe it gets easier to extract that pit?That’s what happened with coffee. And frankly, many practices developed over time that were disgusting! I’ve tried a lot of different coffee brands over the years, but Bulletproof Coffee has completely won me over. The flavor is rich, smooth, and doesn’t have that bitter aftertaste that some other brands do. It’s bold without being overpowering, and I actually look forward to waking up just to brew a cup.What really sets it apart, though, is how it makes me feel. Within about 15 minutes of drinking it, I feel noticeably more alert, focused, and ready to tackle my to-do list. It’s like a clean energy boost without the jitters or crash. I live in the desert so much of the year I drink my coffee iced or at least at room temperature rather than hot. With this product I don't even need to brew a pot the way I usually do, I can just put the grounds in a small filter bag or even a tea ball and place it in water overnight.I appreciate that it's Rainforest Alliance Certified and crafted in the US (Seattle of course). According to the package it's good until 03/2026 which is basically a year from my purchase date. I did make a pot in my drip coffee maker as well as making a cold-brew batch. I always drink my coffee black except occasionally I add a cinnamon stick or some ground cinnamon, so that's how I tried this product. Interestingly the hot-brewed batch tasted more smooth and mellow after a day or two than when I first brewed it. The cold-brewed batch was smooth from the start.The only thing I didn't love is that I had quite a bit of trouble opening the bag and ended up with a hole near the top. But that's not a big deal, and I was still able to seal it. I am enjoying this coffee and I recommend it.

Delicious coffee... but good luck getting the bag open. I've been drinking this coffee for a long time, it's a solid flavorful medium roast. They recently switched packaging, and clearly the people who made that decision didnt test it first. The coffee is tested for mold toxins, which is great since I have a sensitivity to that sort of thing... but you basically need to rip apart sticky glues and plastics to get to your toxic tested coffee? Yikes! Honestly, I will probably still keep this coffee in my rotation because I'm a coffee snob and love a tasty cup of joe... but I can't say I enjoy battling with difficult packaging first thing in the morning. Bulletproof people... can you please fix your damn packaging? Enjoy ya'll 😊☕

This is one of the smoothest medium roasts that I have ever tried. It has a nice, balanced "coffee" flavor without much bitterness. I usually have my coffee with cream and sweetener and found that the sweetener really brings out the notes of orange and plum. I didn't really pick up on any cinnamon notes, but that could be my palate being insensitive to it. This coffee has very good body to it and has a nice mouthfeel. I didn't cold brew this, but rather made it in a hot coffee maker then cooled it. I found that using a French press provided the best extraction with the least coffee. It was best to me with light sweetener and minimal cream/milk as it is a medium roast and not quite as robust as an espresso roast so it isn't really the best for lattes. Though I'm not usually a black coffee drinker, this was smooth enough for me to enjoy it black, too.

I have mine with mct oil and grass fed butter. It sets you up for the day both mentally & physically. Tried the other variations, but the original is my favourite. Yes it's expensive but worth it and I've bought a slightly cheaper brand (but with the same spec) for if I require more than 16floz of coffee in a morning! Best product I've tried...
