I didn’t have to switch any pieces around (no husband necessary) but it is a snug fit so you’ll have to push the diffuser on a little bit harder than you’d expect. Diffuser gave me bouncy, frizz free curls and the diffuser quality is true to the Elchim brand. So happy I bought it!

Previous reviewers mentioned a thick rubber band on the outside of this diffuser. One person mentioned that ber husband was able to get the band correctly on the inside in order to attach the diffuser correctly. Well, I wish they lived next door! I have the band about halfway toward the right spot. Why doesn't the manufactor put the band on in the factory!!!Even so I am able to use the diffuserbut I worry that it might fly off.

The head of the diffuser attachment has silicone grip pieces. It's already designed to fit the Elchim hairdryers its compatible with (mine is the Elchim 2001), but the silicon pieces give it a nice tight fit. It's never fallen off or gotten loose while drying.I use the diffuser to dry my curls, and this attachment did the job nicely. I had voluminous and bouncy curls after drying.I'm glad I was able to find this product on Bolo, I had trouble finding it at the beauty supply retailers in my area.

When you get this diffuser it will not fit on your 2001 Elchim hair dryer because the rubber on the outside is turned the wrong way and needs to be flipped inside out so the bigger rubber part faces in, then it will fit perfectly and I almost returned it, but my sweet hubby figured it out.

This came with a stick-on label that says compatible with the 2001 ... but I was having a lot of trouble getting the attachment onto the dryer. So I peeled back the label to find that the actual box does not mention the 2001 anywhere--it says "only for 3900 and elchim light."

عندي سشوار ELCHIM له سنين واحتجت قطعة الدفيوزر عشان افضل لتنشيف الشعر الكيرلي اشتريت واحده قبل دي من النوع السيلكون اللي يتطبق وكنت استخدمها سنين واحسب انها كويسه وماعرفت الفرق غير لمن جبت هادي القطعه من جد فنانه وتساعد انه الشعر ينشف اسعر يعني مافي مقارنه بينها وبين السيلكون هادي افضل بمراحل وتستاهل كل ريال فيها
