I love doing crossword puzzles, but have been frustrated by the inconsistency of the pencils and erasers I have used. I found an article online the recommended this Pentel mechanical pencil with the twist erase feature and purchased the 0.7 mm lead. What a game changer! Love this pencil! I’ve been doing my crossword puzzles with joy! The write quality, clean erasing, and clarity of the 0.7mm makes me realize I have been putting up with my older pencils for far too long. Wish I would have switched long ago.

These are high quality mechanical pencils that have a cushioned holding area for comfort and grip. The eraser is easily accessible by turning the eraser end of the pencil.

The media could not be loaded. This is my new favorite mechanical pencil. It does many things: writes smooth, lead doesn't break, easy to adjust. But the one thing is does better than any mechanical I've tried is the eraser. It is thick, and the twist feature means you can make it as long or as short as you like. Keeping it relatively short means the eraser isn't wobbly, which I find to be a problem with a lot of other pencils. It's a great value for the money, and well worth it.

This is my favorite mechanical pencil and used them over the years. I need to get new ones not because they fail to function but because I lose it. Smooth mechanism and a great eraser.

Although I love these mechanical pencils and think they are the best ever, I was very disappointed to open the package today and see a label on the barrel of each pencil Perhaps its OCD but I don't want a paper label on any writing utensil. So, I peeled it off only to have a sticky residue remaining. Now I will have to goo gone it off. I'm sure to some this isn't a big deal, but at almost $5 / pencil, WHY? I might understand if I bought a single pencil, but I bought a sealed package of three. So, are they Easy to hold? Yes; are they comfortable to hold -- yes only when they don't have a label on them. Are they durable? Yes.

Great pencil. Have used them for years completing crosswords, soduko's, crypto's etc.. Great erasers. Wouldn't have had to buy another if only I'd quit loosing them.
