We had these candies at my grandmother's house. They were always a special treat because of the wrapping and the little message inside - they were just an inticing candy! As an adult, my Dad would slip one into my hand when I least expected it. He wasn't a man of many words, but I guess this was his way of giving me a kiss and telling me he loved me...SO SPECIAL! I started a tradition with my husband, I buy them for him as a Valentine's present - he loves them! And, he will share with me when he indulges in one. I love BACI!

I absolutely love these! One of my favorite chocolates ever was Ferrera Rocher; however, when I found out that I had celiac disease (gluten allergy) I realized I couldn't enjoy my favorite candy anymore. It's surprising to learn that a lot of chocolates with fillings are not safe for people with gluten-free diets. I stumbled upon this candy by accident, and was delighted to see that I could buy them on Bolo in bulk.

This 4 pack package of Baci is a great deal. Price per unit is less than the box of Baci. Don't order if you live in a warm climate as they will be a melted mess when they arrive. Luckily we have been having some cold spells in Florida & they arrived in perfect condition.

Perugina Baci are my favorite chocolate and are hard to find in stores. I have now ordered them here on Bolo three times. Unfortunately, they are apparently subject to heat during shipping. Each time they arrived melted in the wrapper. The silver foil wrap around each candy is fused into the melted chocolate. I had hoped that the first time was a fluke. And maybe the second was a coincidence. But three strikes and you're out! Until they determine some way to protect them in transit I won't be ordering any more.

Baci are a huge favorite with my family, so I decided to use these as favors. Even though they were shipped tightly, and didn't arrive damaged, they weren't packaged to protect from heat. Every bag had melted chocolates in them, which aside from being difficult to get the foil off of, gives the chocolate a bit of a bitter taste.
