Lightweight, quick drying, & relatively soft pants that arrived quickly. They are perfect for hiking. They are more of a classic fit (not slim fit), so I wore thermals under them when we were up in the mountains and by themselves when we hiked to Hidden Beach. They got wet in the ocean, but dried quickly. The elastic waist band was comfortable, but tight enough that I did not need a belt. I’m 5’2” and would have needed to roll the bottoms up a couple inches, but it was not necessary with my hiking boots on.

Update: Faux button fell off after 2nd wash. It's a hook fastener, not a button. When the rivet pulls thru I'll have to fix somehow. Still like pants tho.1st review: Bought them to mow grass in. NW FL heat index was 103° today when I tried them out. I'm impressed! Compared to my blue jeans these are light weight, COOL, stretchy, breathable, comfortable and nicely designed. The grass and dirt don't stick at all to them. I'm 5'8" 225# wear 16, sometimes 18, 2X fit best. I returned 3X they were too baggy.I put on bright underwear and I couldn't see them thru material. I was much cooler but did sweat a bit at waistband probably from elastic. My workout top made me sweat worse!The green which is slightly more sage than the photo but perfect.I'm very pleased, ordering a 2nd pair.Downsides I can live with: they wrinkle easily, can't decide if it's noticable yet. They don't have the zip off conversion to shorts I wanted. A touch short for 5'8".

I use these pants for research fieldwork. To emphasize how great they are, I camped for 2 months with one of these pairs of pants among others and loved them so much that I got several more pairs and had them as my only pants when camping for 5 months. With off-trail hiking through thorns and dense brush, only one pair had a ripped pocket after 7 total months of use. The number of pockets is amazing. The back pockets and one of the front lower pockets are nice for simple things with a velcro close, but the one front zipper pocket keeps you not worried about things falling out, and the upper front pockets are SO deep I can jokingly fit an entire water bottle in them if needed. The material is a nice breathable almost-wicking (though not officially) material that handles rough hikes, etc. In no way are they waterproof, but they line dry faster than thick hiking pants. I purchased the brown and light grey colors. They both stain in muddy environments, however this may also be due to handwashing instead of a heavy-duty washer. The light grey stains much more easily though, so I would personally recommend brown. Having tried several more expensive and name brands, these give the best value for the cost personally. They run true to size for me (5’8” 150lbs and use medium—with a belt when pockets are full), and if in need of a field shirt I recommend the “Jessie Kidden Women's UPF 50+ UV Sun Protection Safari Shirt” (pictured) it runs a little large (wearing small) but is so soft and comfortable.

I bought these pants last minute the night before we left to go hiking because I discovered that my favorite pair of prana convertible pants was missing one bottom half of the zip off leg! Ugh. Cue overnight delivery options and scurrying to pick one. Well I am very pleased!! I am 5' 5 "1/2 and approximately 128 lbs I was unsure about buying the small or the medium but I like for my hiking pants to be a little bit snug because as they stretch out during the hike they slip down. And with the seat of the pant hanging low it actually puts more stress on your thigh (quad) leg muscles to 'fight' against the garment you're wearing if you can move freely. (True!!) So I went for the small because if the medium was too big and baggy I would've had to forgo wearing them. But the small fit great with elastic waist AND they actually make me look like I have a butt which is awesome because most snug ish pants just flatten my butt!! SORRY for pics , hard to take body selfies without a mirror. HaThe material is thin, that's ok because I can put fleece leggings underneath, but be able to use them for warm weather camping too. The quality feel is nice, the pockets are great and the stretch is amazing for climbing and squatting. Haven't tested the waterproofing yet, but as long as they repell some water I'll be happy. The leg opening is just big enough to go over top of my hiking boots. If I could change anything I'd make them 1 inch longer but they are NOT too short. Happy camper here. Hope it helps.Update**** wore them 4 days in a row in Feb, north Georgia mountain weather camping and hiking. Don't look worn or dirty, no damage. They are wind resistant to a comfortable temp and in colder conditions I just wore thin leggings underneath. Great budget pant. Look good enough to wear in to town too. Comfortable, stretchy for climbing. I'm going back for more and to hopefully get a convertible pair from this company!

Almost 5 star pants if it wasn't for the inseam issue. These are incredibly comfortable and light weight for light activities outdoors. Sizing in the waist seemed fairly accurate as advertised. My biggest gripe is that the inseam is definitely not the advertised 30 inches. I am not a very tall woman at all being just 5'8" and these pants climb halfway up my calves when I sit down, then the cuffs stop well above the tops of my hiking boots when standing up straight.

These are great. They feel like nothing, but they are a flattering fit (I weigh 165-170 and ordered large. 5'8".) The pockets are fully functional! I have worn them 3 consecutive days. They are light and cool. But they look nice enough to be business casual. I don't know how well they will wash. An update may be in order, but so far so good! Ordering other colors now.
Would be useful if end of seams have straps
