For the longest time, I've bought the store brand of these fruit bars. When I realized Bolo had them, I had to try. I bought strawberry and cinnamon apple. Strawberry is my favorite flavor, but apple cinnamon is not. If the apple cinnamon was palatable to me, this would be great buy. The strawberry, as expected was yummy, fresh fruit taste. The apple cinnamon was not bad, I don't know that I would buy them again, but I had no trouble disappearing all of them.

Bolo has done a superb job of crafting with their cereal bars. The outer crust is thin, which means you get a lot more fruit in the center, and the crust has a mild nutty flavor that complements the fruit. I bought the strawberry and raspberry flavors and was delighted by how much there was of it! Both were good but I enjoyed the taste of strawberry the most as raspberry was too mild for my tastes. Strawberry though, had that delicious sweetly tart flavor that reminds me of strawberry shortcake only this isn't as bad for you. I plan on buying this flavor again and highly recommend it!

Mixed Berry:The first thing I noticed right off the bat is that even though these things are claiming to be blueberry, raspberry, and Apple, Etc.. to me they taste very similar to Fig Newtons. So it's really strange that they're combined flavor comes out tasting a lot like a fig newton. I personally am not a fig newton fan. I don't think they taste horrible but when I'm looking for a berry flavor this is not what I'm looking for. Because the flavor is strange to me, I gave it four stars. Otherwise everything else about them is fine. The price is right. The breading is right. Their average size for a cereal bar. Although they are smaller than a nutri-grain bar.... I just don't care for the flavor. I will try their other flavors and see if they're better for my pallet.

I have ordered these a couple times before and they were soft and delicious. This time, however, they are hard and dry. The expiration date is 9 months away, so I would say that quality control is lacking!
