I recently tried this kombucha made from organic black tea, and it has quickly become a staple in my fridge. The balance of flavors is impeccable—the tangy, fermented taste of kombucha is complemented perfectly by the richness of the black tea. The tea base gives it a deep, earthy tone, which I found more complex compared to lighter kombucha varieties. It also isn’t overly sweet, making it feel more natural and refreshing.

The black tea worked perfect for my kombucha. The taste seemed fine and even though this tea is the "fannings" the price was great and I didn't see any dust in the tea when I poured it out of my french press.

The smell of this tea is so good! I've used it for kombucha and to ferment pickles - so far it has been amazing! We make kombucha regularly and this is the first time we've used it. We will definitely continue to use it going forward.

This is a very high-quality tea. I can tell by the way that my final product of kombucha turned out. My only caution is that it is very fine grain and will require you to have a filter. I’m used to brewing kombucha and straining my tea with a filter, or with teabags, however, if I was not used to this process I would be quite disappointed as this tea would slip right through my teapot strainer.
