Enjoy these for my Indian and non Indian cooking. For anybody that wrote they’re to spicy, don’t buy Indian chilies, duh!

these whole chillies from TAJ are some of the freshest I have tried. The aroma hits you as soon as you open the bag, and you can tell right away that they have been packed well. They are vibrant in color, not dull or brittle, and the flavor they add to dishes is deep and authentic.I have toasted them lightly in oil to build a base for curries and also ground them into homemade chilli powder. Both ways, the flavor is excellent. The heat level is just right for me, enough to bring warmth and spice without being overwhelming. If you want more kick, you can use a couple extra and it delivers.

No where in the photos or product description included the warning statement about soy. To my dismay, when this was delivered it had a soy warning. Really unacceptable that this isn’t disclosed upfront. If you have soy allergies - avoid!

I used 3 of these in a large pot of Indian food and it was quite hot. I probably could’ve used 1 for more mild flavor. They were excellent and a great deal.
