I've been using this product for about 18months maybe almost 2 years. I put it in the bottom of my coffee mug with a teaspoon to teaspoon and a half sugar, then add hot black coffee. It dissolves almost before i stir and then completely once i stir the normal 10-12 revolutions.It has zero after taste to me as well. I've had others that had the fishy smell and taste. I've had one small jar of this that seemed a little more gritty, but I figure things happen its not always gonna be the same everything forever and it wasn't to the point it ruined my dosing everyday.. I'm a morning coffee drinker so this product has been rocking my world for a long time and the benefits are obvious. My joints, specifically knees and hips, don't hurt, or crackle pop anymore. My hair stopped falling out in swift fashion (no i don't have thyroid disease). I'm using the product as i can and am benefiting. they kind of tell people cold liquids are causing trouble and everyone knows if you pour a packet of hot chocolate on the top of your milk or water it clumps up.Concerning the amount in the jar...yeah I'm guessing this stuff has ultimate settling. I do know that the price is still worth the amount and the large is double the amount of the small. So i don't get wrapped up in the size of the jar. I'd assume they'd save money on that if they could.Bottom line. Perhaps move on if you like this in cold stuff and are going to complain about settling. Think of a bag of chips...its same thing its always half full people.Lastly, this is not an overnight magic cure if you don't put the time in then you wont notice any change. It took me like 6 months to realize ...is this working? Damn right it is i never complain about knee or hip pain and I can crouch, squat, bend and contort them more than i could ever remember. Ive not given it up since and i still can tell its benefitting me. My nail and skin did not change though. We're all different though. I was in it for the better joints and hope these guys stay in business so i don't have to go back to trying the other brands with their fishy tastes and smells.Thanks Horbach

So far this is great...... The scoop is small and it dissolves in liquid easily without any taste so you don't really know it's there. I will be re ordering more as it had multiple types of collagen which is great and it's a great price. I have tried several brands of this and this is the best in my opinion. I would recommend it to others.

I have been using this collagen powder in my morning coffee or tea for about 5 weeks now. I cannot tell if it has had any effects on my hair, skin, or any bodily function. However, I can tell you this: it is easy to add to a beverage that is room temperature or warmer. It mixes in easily and does not change the taste of the beverage. (If I want to add it to a cold drink, I first warm the drink to room temperature so that the powder doesn't clump, then I add ice.) I appreciate that this brand includes types I, II, III, V, and X of collagen and that is is comparatively inexpensive, about 34 cents per use.

After learning that a multi-type collagen was more ideal for overall health than using a single type collagen, I came across this collagen and I could not pass it up due to price/servings per container.Before hand, I was using Vital Proteins and getting it from Costco for $35 for a 64 serving container and they use a bovine hide collagen, so you aren't sure exactly what type you're intaking. After switching to this collagen, you can tell a difference. It doesn't mix as well, but works very well in coffee, mixed with yogurt, or in baked goods. It also adds a good stickiness when incorporated with yogurt, so good for a protein packed icing or whatever you find use for. It does have a distinct taste, but when mixed with anything such as coffee or in baked goods, you cannot taste it.This will be my current collagen from now on!

28 year old male and a medically retired veteran. I started taking collagen, glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM and omega 3 about 2 months ago. I hurt my back pretty bad in the military so I've been looking into natural supplements to help the bones and disc in my spine. As most probably don't know all collagen types are important but especially type 2 for your joints, back, and disc. I've been feeling alot better, more flexible, I don't feel like an old man in the mornings, and overall better quality of life. The only downsides I saw to this was people saying it doesn't mix properly and that's not true. I have it every morning with a glass of chocolate milk. I stir vigorously for about 10 seconds AND then let it sit for a few minutes!!! ( that part is key or yes there will be clumps) Other than that I have absolutely no issue with this product and love it. I've recommended it to a few people as well so I hope you all have as much success as me

This mixes quite well in juice, although it does try to blob up a little. As long as I don't take a big blob into my mouth I can't taste it in orange juice. Other collagen brands that are mostly bovine smell and taste like a barnyard to me and I can't stomach them. This product is a mix of bovine, fish, chicken and egg collagens. The canister it comes in is huge so at first I thought 'what a great value!', but the canister is only half full. It hadn't been opened or used, but perhaps had settled. I recommend this Horbaach Multi Collagen Protein Powder.

I cannot speak to the benefits as I have only been using this for a week, but I have no trouble with taste or dissolving. One scoop mixes well in my hot coffee in the morning. I haven't tried any other liquids. Also, I dont taste any flavor like others reported.

It's fish protein - it has a weird taste. On top of that, it doesnt dissolve in water without a fight. It's been a pain in the a** to take it, but it has the protein amount that i want.
