Gulp Alive is a fish catcher to be sure. It's best to buy the 1/2 or full pint as this is the most cost efficient way of using Gulp. To me the liquid in the jar smells like pickle juice yet the fish bite and don't let go. They can be used in both fresh and salt water. Smallmouth bass jump all over these grubs with the best colors being white and chartreuse. Use them on a jig spinner with an 1/8th ounce jig head. Black sea bass and fluke munch these grubs in the salt. I like using a drop shot rig with a heavier weight ( 1 ounce or more depending on current ) with a Neko 1/0 hook. The one thing to remember about Gulp is to NEVER leave it on a hook when not in use as the bait will dry up. Put it back in the jar.This bait also is a fine spinnerbait trailer and can be added to a swim jig. If you have not used Gulp yet, what are you waiting for?

*most important they work, I have now used them in fresh water and caught walleye, bass, and perch and in salt water for flounder and most important they do catch fish I have used pearl, green and nucellar chicken* easy to use and will last a while the only problem I had was in Salt they would get the tails bit off and need replacing* while I like the product I do not like the containers they come in and have found 1/2 pint wide mouth canning jars with replaceable plastic lids work perfect, they don't leak, easy to reach in and are perfect size to carry

After reading all of the reviews, I was certain that my luck of fishing would finally change with these quality lures. The action in the water is so promising and couple that with the softness of each curly tail (because it’s stored in a container of liquid) improves the quality of the bait, but I can’t seem to catch and land anything.Don’t get me wrong. It’s a fish magnet because my friends seem to have awesome luck, so I have to rethink my set-up and technique. Therefore, I gave it a 3 but I’m sure my friends would rate it a 4 or even 5.Maybe I’ll be able to up my ratings in the future. I’m thinking about purchasing another color. It’s hard to give up on these because they’re so promising.

Works! IDK if the lid is very good because I lost all the juices that are attractive to fish.
I like that it caught me a medium size flaty, the dip recharge feature makes this product great as you can make sure each cast is gonna bring in lots of fish ;) I've heard this stuff is 20x more likely to bring in fish, but I am not cluey as to the type of fish this attracts. Easy to attach to the hook through the mouth and out the body, but pretty pungent... Unfortunately, I don't think the lid is the best and when I capsized my canoe lost a lot of the scenting liquid luring in the water. I'm not sure what is in the stuff, but, I reckon it's still good even with just a small amount I've been dabbing on from the other gulps (25cm healthy looking flaty in images with hook placement).
