This arrived just in time for making Tikka masala. It’s one of two main dishes that I make (Tandoori masala is the other) where regular maharajah curry powder needs the blend to help with the depth of flavor and warmth that’s needed. This did the job w/ a slight adjustment! It was my first time using this brand, but it was a whopping 14 oz at a fantastic price that filled up my old bottle + 1, and arrived in time for dinner! It does have a nice balance of spices that gives off a nice authentic fragrance, and the flavor was spot on in my dish. I did find it a little light on the ‘garam’ (warmth) properties I’ve become accustomed to, but that’s a matter of personal preference and easily adjusted. It’s a very generous amount that you receive that is ideal for not only seasoning curries and lentil dishes, but can be added to potatoes and vegetables as well as mediterranean turkish recipes. Overall, this is not only a great addition to your spice cabinet/pantry, but you can’t beat the price, amount, and flavor. 5 Stars!!!P.S. Mfg Date: 17/01/2024

Big bag of Masala for a great price. This costs way more at my local krogers or walmart. Super happy to have such a large quantity for butter chicken! Tastes great!

This is the best deal at bulk price. The flavor profile is perfect. I’ll admit I’ve had better versions, but they’re wildly more expensive. This one has a nice balance, and although I like very spicy, this is a little softer and more palatable for people that can’t handle that . This way I can make dishes for others and I can always tweak my own. Not going to beat the price / quality matchup here

So I bought this because a lot of stores around where I live do not carry garam masala lately. But this will seriously last me for 10 years, I need more recipes to use it in tastes. Great though.
