the price was cheaper than a discount grocery store and since I have Bolo primer it had free shipping.I just bought it before I ran out of the one that I had.it was the same date on it just as if I had bought it at the grocery store.it was the same color and taste as if I bought it in the store.the package it came in was packed very well and I am looking but I think that it is plastic, but it doesn't matter.... It was in perfect shape, the color and taste was the same and it was not leaking when I got it in the mail and open the box!!!Yes it is made out of plastic!!1 win win!!

Greasy spots on the inside of the box it came in & when I pulled it out it the jar felt greasy around the lid & there's mayonnaise literally oozing out of the unopened lid (the place where you "break" the actual blue lid part from the blue ring that remains on the jar, that was still unbroken). Then when I opened the lid it kind of "popped" off & mayo got all over the edges of the jar & my hand. Realized it was most likely due to being on a hot vehicle all day before it arrived at my house, so there was a build-up of pressure from inside the jar. I doubt it's safe to eat & not chancing it.

Anxious to replace with larger jar from Aldi's. It's o.k. but small jar gone too quick. Especially if you have tuna to dress. Bought one when not feeling well enough to go shopping. But very soon, had to buy another for chicken salad, etc. Serves purpose well.
