Works well. One of the few shampoos out these days that dont make my hair fall out or make hives on my scalp. Not sure what the shampoo companies are doing these days but can say they are making it harder to find decent hair care. This is one of few.

I bought this because when I was a teen, this was my favorite shampoo, back then, it was from Clairol, and I was a little bit dubious about the smell because that was what specifically I was looking for, and it didn't disappoint. Also, it works amazingly. I have long and wavy hair, and I have to do at least two rounds of shampoo, the first is Head and Shoulders for my greasy scalp (which is the only one that works for me), and then I finish with Herbal Essences (Rose Hips).

I'll say this about Herbal Essences. It's not the highest quality shampoo/conditioner you can buy but there is not a better smelling product on the market anywhere on planet earth. I like the green one just fine but the pink one smells so good I want to make out with it. I'm fortunate to have been born with pretty good hair naturally so I don't require super high quality expensive products for my hair. For a drugstore brand this is a bit pricey but totally worth it. But if you have specific hair needs this might not be for you.
