An objective evaluation
When I was reading the other reviews that keep complaining without facts, I almost cancelled my order, but then I looked outside, -16 C and decided to take my chances with online order instead of going to Costco.First of all my order came in 2 weeks before estimated time and in a nice strong box. I put on a scale the one that I had from Costco and got a 273 gr. weight for the roll. Did the same for the Bolo roll and got 199 gr. that is about 73% of the Costco roll. Then I compared the overall surface of the rolls: 7185.2 and 5386.7 sq. inch respectively. So by the surface we have 75% of the Costco roll, which comes to ~$16.50 for the price if we compare by the amount of paper we get. The thickness felt the same, ripping force of the wet towel felt almost the same (keep in mind that wider towel rips with a bit mor force). I paid $18.00 (i.e. $1.50 we can reserve for delivery). I think I got a vey good deal. I am sure one will spend more than $1.50 for the fuel to drive to Costco.
Great value and handy sheet size
Love this brand. It really is worth every penny and is soooooo much stronger than any cheap brands out there. I always always get this brand now, especially the select-a-size kind. It really is convenient to be able to easily tear off a smaller piece.I recently ran out of bounty and had to get another brand with full size sheets and it’s so awkward when pulling the sheets as I’ve been so used to the half size ones in the bounty rolls.I’ve also moved many times in the last 10 years that I began using bounty paper towels to pack all my fragile stuff. Then once I unpack I collect the sheets and put them in a tote and use them when wiping up messes. Found that it works better than packing stuff in newspaper. Yes it’s more costly but in the end it’s worth it and you get another use out of it too.
